Graphically what I meant.

Stock is bought at yellow mark, as I'm expecting price to grow because devs announcement.

first stop-loss order is set, with a margin of 10% of current price (whole stock will be sold in case price will drop by 10%)

Devs announced "great changes etc" price is going up.
Interval of bot is set for example @ 1 minute, so stop-loss order will be updated every minute (previous orders will be cancelled). Bot will retain 10% margin when setting new stop-loss order. If price goes up, stop-loss level is going up. If price drops, NO new stop-loss order is set. IT should only changed when price grows.

After price grows, IT falls rapidly by 11%, so last stop-loss order at the peak of growth is executed.

Can Leonardo do that? Ive chcecked margin trading, but its not exactly what I need?

See file below

Hello

any idea if stop loss trailing was implemented into leonardo?

A happy new year everyone. Wink

I'm wondering, if it is already known why the newer 3.7.x versions are painfully slow on bitfinex while the older 3.6 releases are running fine and smooth after the websocket implementation.

I'm on the road actually with only one laptop and have only bitfinex with 4 pairs open ... but i mentioned that problem with the 3.7.x earlier and was told by a user that using the older version would fix it, which i can confirm.

SADLY, the version-numbers are _nowhere_ visible except for the login screen (and now from the new about dialog, which lacks the build number - and so fix level - at all). So .. .yeah .. on my linux box at home i have a nice sorted ~/opt/leonardo-linux-x.x.x-bNNNNNNNN/ set of dirs where i can use more then one version in parallel for best performance but....

That does not work on windows installs, and it is a bad and sloppy hack anyways...

Any news so far? As a customer, i would prefer that all hickups in existing exchange APIs get sorted out before new APIs are added, but well, i can see the need to increase the number of useable exchanges....... ymmv Wink

Greetings,

hacky

Hey hacky, I can also confirm this bitfinex constantly disconnects the more bots/ pairs you have running the more it seems to disconnect.

Hopefully they fix it soon (whether it be bitfinex websocket issue or leonardos)

I have just purhcased the leonArdo bot for PolonieX and I cannot for the life of me get it to connect to the exchange. I've generated new API keys and had them rebuild the software, all with no luck. If anyone else has experienced this same issue or could provide some guidance in getting this situated PLEASE PLEASE help me out!

Would it be possible to have a reinvestment option available.

When using the BB and taken to the account it works and the markets are not behaving like the last days, thanks to the fuckers of CoinmarketCap, if it gains lets say $10 at a sell, it starts again with a buy, but to add the gain in the total buy amount. This way the portfolio can grow with the coin.

I think this would also be interesting to have when needed, to grow a starting Portfolio, helping the diversity within it.

Makes sense! I think it would be easy enough to use a percentage of total funds for each bot. That way it updates quantities purchased based on the whole account value and not just the number you set at the very beginning.

Bolliger Bands Strategy !
The Smoothing interval (candle units): 6

Sell Band: 2
Sell Signal: -25.2

Buy Band: 1
Buy Signal: 7.6

min of 0.50% gain in order

https://i.imgur.com/Xs54zMU.png

it sells for 30% of actual rate  Angry what's happening? it's just losing money!

You bought at 740, sold at 757 and bought at 750. A limit sell at much lower than asking is a trick to get a market sell.  It doesn't matter what the ask value is, it sold at 757.  You didn't lose money on that sale.  I don't know if this was deliberate programming, but it seems risky putting such a low value in just to ensure trade.

OK So, Rene the issue with Poloniex is that the API key MUST have the 8-digit hyphen separation or it will not work

Hey Rene,

I noticed on the demo that some of the funds would just disappear right after a gain.
This happens in all the exchanges that I have tried.

Thanks, Chris

Could you please update or compiling this file http://marginsoftware.de/downloads/leonArdo.arm   <<< This version works on arch linux for Raspberry

Are you saying the tarball version doesn't work on Arch? We didn't plan on updating the "naked" build, but in case the run-leonArdo.sh script doesn't work for you, executing just the binary should be the same as it was when we shipped just said binary. It would also be interesting to know that the wrapper script breaks things on Arch so I can fix it.

It should be copy and paste from the Poloniex website or did they change anything at Poloniex?

In the Demo it seems that the BB bot is stopping if it hits a Stop Loss Limit, either buy or sell,  and you need to restart it manually.

Is this an intended behaviour or it happens only in the Demo mode ?

Hi Christian;
I dont think that the script break anything on Arch, coz the version version 3.7.2-beta run perfectly.. If I run the tarball script ./run-leonArdo.sh it say:
Code:
 not running on Raspbian
./leonArdo.arm: relocation error: /usr/lib/libpthread.so.0: symbol __mmap, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
I tried to use my computer libc.so.6 but it doesnt work either and If I run just the binary, it say:
Code:
[1]     498 abort (core dumped)   ./leonArdo.arm
Thanks team, great program and good job!!
Cheers!!

Update patch version 3.7.7 available

Some more bug fixes

  • Raised log levels for http errors
  • Fixed rounding error in Poloniex which prevented spot orders from being placed
  • Some log corrections
  • Tracking file for firstCurrency/secondCurrency errors
  • Completed trades chart can be updated in hindsight. Fixes wrong amounts being shown for once partially filled orders for example on Bittrex
  • Global spot order lock preventing two spot orders from being placed at the same time (which is impossible)
  • Added fix to avoid that mac-tools windows are hiden when the main window looses focus

Click on the "update available!" link on the leonArdo login screen to download this new version.
