I just found and test that the 2nd message

** (leonArdo.arm:1067): WARNING **: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not provided by any .service files

goes away by running: sudo apt-get install at-spi2-core

Nice work - I'll give it a go!

Bitfinex doesnt allow me to trade because I have only 3 ETC.Cannot move funds or do anything.Asked for my license to change after 2 days (and diodnt use it actually) since I bought it,to something else and my request was rejected because I bought a license over a year ago.

Funny thing considering I have leonardo like 2 months now or so,plus bought a new extension t license 2 days before asking (because bitfinex screwed most people)to change.
Thanks guys,really.

Can you pm me the email you used to purchase leonArdo and I'll have a look and we will get this sorted out.

All the best,

  Rene

Hey,
whenever I run leonardo on my new Raspberry/Raspbian setup, I'm getting the following terminal message.

running on Raspbian
libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate

** (leonArdo.arm:1067): WARNING **: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not provided by any .service files

leoNardo opens normally but I don't know about this message on terminal window.
Any fellow raspbian has any idea?

I get that too. I wondered what it was but when I ignore it everything works fine!  Cheesy

I agree that warnings shouldn't happen on a fresh install. I'll look into it but if this is an issue with Raspbian itself, it's on them to fix it. I don't think an ugly workaround would be warranted, especially if it's only a warning that doesn't cause any other problems and given that the whole ARM ecosystem is so varied. We wouldn't want to introduce a workaround that makes things worse for users of other systems.

All the best,

  Christian

.oO( A normal day with leonardo Sad https://pastebin.com/qVasNWjq )

Hacky

I think you meant to say normal day for you. This is not typical behavior experienced by everyone.

I hope so Wink

Dear Hacky,

yes, some users have the problem you are describing. But that is not the majority. I would really appreciate it if you would acknowledge that fact.

Thanks Wink

  Rene

EDIT: And of course we are fixing that bug and hope to have an update for you soon.

Greetings folks,

I am running the latest release of the bot on bittrex exchange.

I cannot seem to get the bollinger band strategy to work with any kind of logic whatsoever, hopefully someone can give me a few pointers on what I am doing wrong.  I set up a Strategy on a pair using basically the defaults & band 2 on the bollinger band strategy.. The first trade appeared to follow the trading logic of buying at the dip (on the lower band) and selling at a peak.. I made no changes to the running strategy, and after the first initial buy low/sell high pair, the bot began trading 100% opposite and buying high & selling low?   on another occasion, the bot makes the buy on the "buy" band, but then proceeds to execute a sell (at a loss of course!) on some random point no-where near the sell line? I have the min effective gain set to .10 - this parameter is clearly being ignored?  Can anyone give some Ideas on what I am doing wrong here?

Here are some screenshots of the bizarre trading patterns.

thanks

Only time I’ve seen this on Poloniex is when you’ve stopped the bot at some point between a buy/sell cycle. If I set it and let it run it never sells for a loss on my end. If it’s doing this and you’re NOT stopping the bot then it must be a bug or something screwy with Bittrex...

This looks very strange indeed. There could be other reasons like starting/stopping or multiple strategies.
Can you send the logs to support@marginsoftware.de and we will have a look!

All the best,

  Rene

Update patch version 3.7.8 available

This patch should make leonArdo more stable.

Fixed four sources of potential program crashes:
  • Order Association issue in strategies, causing runtime_error
  • Bad Websocket server results causing future_error: Broken promise (relevant for Bitfinex & HitBTC)
  • Bad handling of http errors in fund queries, causing a std::runtime_error
  • Bad handling of open orders request errors

Reduced spot order buy price max to 1.2*current price. This in particular makes spot orders on Bittrex more stable.

Click on the "update available!" link on the leonArdo login screen to download this new version.

Whats your best trading startegie guys ? I've been playing with the blinger for a few days now, trying to find a sweet spot but i'm not sure if i'm on the right path.

I tryed on 12h, 6h and 1h chart on ~10 coins. 12 seems a bit too wide for dayli profits. On the 6h i got good results but didnt tuned that much. Then i tried on the 1h chart but it was trading with way too little profit, i need to give him more % gain to play with.

What's your best results guyz ?

Hi Rene (& Money4good) -

Thanks for the feedback -   I am reasonably sure that I stopped and restarted the running BB Bot in those situations.   I have restarted a BB bot using some of the parameters suggested by a user here (like 12H time frame with 4.00% relative buy/sell gains and will not stop the running bot if it has executed any trade.

one other quick question, I have looked through what docs I have ancdcannot figure out what the "Go for it!" radio button does?

thanks

-t

They were hashing it out last week and earlier this week, it got fairly deep and the guys were introspective, this may be your best bet. "Shared experience" might save you some coin ramping up.

Hey,
whenever I run leonardo on my new Raspberry/Raspbian setup, I'm getting the following terminal message.

running on Raspbian
libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate

** (leonArdo.arm:1067): WARNING **: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not provided by any .service files

leoNardo opens normally but I don't know about this message on terminal window.
Any fellow raspbian has any idea?

dbus is some service for communication between apps within your desktop environment. You just can ignore that at all. Dunno what they try to do but i suspect it to be a side effect of planned desktop notification stuff integration maybe? Dunno for real but nothing you need to worry about afaics. Wink

By the way ... to show it in the right light.

Besides all the rants about instabilities and changing apis and occuring problems..

Not only did leonardo pay for itself but look at the left, i even paid this funny "copper membership" i have now with the coinz leonardo made me ..... (O.k. the lifetime pastebin pro account was a bit early but leonardo was already involved .. and a good bit of luck. Wink)

Just FYI. Wink

Not sure if any other Raspberry Pi users have noticed this but sometimes when I close a coin pair it closes the whole program instead of just that tab...Not every time but it has happened twice in last 24 hrs. Not sure if it’s a big or a communication problem with VNC viewer.

Yeah, it's annoying. The trick is to not close the tab that is currently open
