No, I don't agree on that part. Investing is entirely different from gambling. Investing is not only about casino investments, but there are many other investments like investing in gold, real estate and many other ways. All those are not a gambling but it takes its time time to give you a good profit. Gambling is an enjoyment but investing is for making a profit.

Investing is not only about casino investments, but there are many other investments like investing in gold, real estate and many other ways. All those are not a gambling but it takes its time time to give you a good profit. Gambling is an enjoyment but investing is for making a profit.

The main thing to remember is diversifying your investments if you worry that you may lose money in investments. By diversifying you can reduce a lot of risks and quite safer side. So don't put all your funds in any one sector or site but put in many sites small amounts and reduce your risks. If you don't invest because of risks then you can't grow your money.

I think since a choice is given then surely it is all about profits because if it was fun, then this question is irrelevant. Yes there is a lot of idea going on in this thread. But investing is less risk than gambling. Because you can predict if the investment site is going to scam or not. So you can count the days that they will be scam. So move your money before it is too late. And gets profit for that investment site.

Issue is you can never tell when someones going to scam.
Investing and gambling are one in the same there is odds of failure for both.

If you are a risk taker gambling is the best choice because you will know in instant if you are going to earn or not. if you invest your money you have to wait for long time and worst you cant gain anything coz they runaway with your money.

It is all about skills and experience, as in sports betting. In my opinion investments are many times more risky than some versions of gambling.

Of course there is one more very important thing - information - as we know, at the present times information is the most expensive commodity

It is definitely not the same, given that you understand what house edge means you should totally know that it is different. In gambling you are bound to lose at the amount average of what you wagered as the house edge however if you are investing then you are getting profit of the house edge times wagered amount

It is much saver to invest then to gamble because with gambling the chance is much bigger that you are going to lose but the good thing with gambling is that if you win you will have your money right away.
With investing waiting becomes a huge part of it and that is why people do not like to invest it takes to long.

Maybe sometimes it is very similar with gambling but in general invest is better option when we put our into reputable casino, players have pretty low chance to make profit against the house that is why I am totally disagree with you for you this opinion.

My suggestion for that 1 BTC is that, Don't use it for gambling, gambling have a lot of risk, and most of the time you cannot win, instead they are the one winning.

In investing, if you know a site that are not scam and do have a physical miners for example, then it is a good one, but if it is just like the other ponzi sites out there like the one that previously closed and took my money CLDmine then don't expect for a profit from it.

Look for a site which is a legit one, try to search for badbitcoins and look at the good sites.

I've done pretty good investing in startups but that takes quite a bit of research.  For every startup or crowdfund that does well there are 1000's that tank....I've done pretty well playing poker too but for every winner there are losers.  Investing IS gambling and one needs to build a solid skill set before diving in to either of those ventures too deeply.  Do what you're best at and don't rely on anecdotal evidence to make those decisions. They both require specific skill sets and they both have a real element of risk.

I am seeing that investing in a gambling site does not require too much skills to be successful, apparently gambling sites are profitable so there is nothing to worry on that, maybe we will just hard to pay attention on the reputation of a certain site so we will not be scam.

By putting your money in the gambling site's bankroll, you are sharing the risk in gambling. However, you have the advantage because you are placing your money to trust them that their system will win over the gamblers, and for me that's the easiest form of investment as it has been proven many that times its profitability.

but i think there is nothing wrong in gambling, it is totally depend on the way you play gambling, if you have some good strategy for gambling then it is good and you should invest your money there but if you do not have any strategy and have little experience about bitcoin then you should give preference to investment.
