What they charge small businesses to accept credit cards is ridiculous. My local pet store has now upped the requested amount spent to use debit/credit at 15.00 due to high visa/mastercard fees! What is the point of accepting it and it seems a backwards move back to cash - plus no cashiers know how to give change anymore.
Merchants are on the wrong side here. If I had a store I would directly stop accepting these nasty payment options in my store a long time ago. If ridiculously high fees aren't enough reasons for merchants to stop accepting Visa, then what is?
