Is it safe to assume it's a letter?

I'm guessing it's a renown list of sorts, with the letters representing the first letter of the word on the list.

All the information needed to complete the sequence is contained within the letters, you don't need to Google anything, just use your noggin. There is more than one letter required to complete the sequence though. The 26 English alphabet letters are used, not a foreign language.

how about BZZZZ! You can share your thinking about your wrong answer though. I'll give some time before I give another hint; this is a Mensa-style puzzle that came to me during the course of doing some work.

Yeah - guessed it wouldn't be that easy. Smiley

I looked at the idea of a repeating pattern so simply divided AKMNR into AKMN R and tried to repeat the AKMN pattern starting a R (wrapping around from Z back to A).

Complete this sequence:

AKMNR ...

Sorry, no correct answers yet.  wah wah wah.

Big Hint #2 - The answer wouldn't be different if I used lower case letters instead of upper case, but the clue would only be one letter!

I may not be able to solve it, but I'll happily contribute to crowdsourcing the solution.

Considering the latest clues, visualize from which one of the following is most logical.

akmnrb

akmnrc

akmnrd

akmnre

akmnrf

akmnrg

akmnrh

akmnri

akmnrj

akmnrl

akmnro

akmnrp

akmnrq

akmnrs

akmnrt

akmnru

akmnrv

akmnrw

akmnrx

akmnry

akmnrz

I excluded a, k, m, n, and r in the above list, but here they are in case the sequence has repeated letters, which I believe we can exclude nonetheless.

akmnra

akmnrk

akmnrm

That would be sic [sic] if that's the answer.

I'm looking at something different.
