I would not advice you to invest in any altcoin right now as Bitcoin is showing a healthy amount of growth right now and as the master of all crypto grows, all alts will come crumbling down.
You can invest in some upcoming ICO or project like xenio and indahash as both of them are based upon unique ideas and have a very strong team.

On point, if i have that kind of amount I wouldn't touch it as well because the value of that is very big if I convert it our local currency. I will hold it until bitcoin reach its highest price. And besides its not a good idea to invest it with other altcoins as of the moment because bitcoin price right now is

yeah better keep on holding because the risk of loss of value is very high if the investments wherever it was when bitcoin price is on the rise. especially if you don't have a lot of skills, the choices is just keep holding until it reaches the highest price above $10k, it's very likely reached earlier in the year 2018. just be patient, because the key of success in bitcoin is patience.

It's better to wait because bitcoin price is still increasing. If you want you can withdraw some to buy some altcoins because I really think that altcoins are also worth investing because you can earn money through trading coins. You should diversify your investments, that way you can earn more income compared when you're just focused on just one coin.

You don't actually need to do anything but wait in my opinion. In that way you eliminate the unnecessary transactions which saves your time, effort and reduces risks of scams and hacks which might expose your bitcoins or wallets. Just hold and wait until the price of the bitcoins reach a certain amount that you would be satisfied to sell and earn profit from.

If you have nice income or job in life, than there is no need to sell that BTC. You can change it maybe for other currency, but I would leave it in BTC. For few years. And then sell it when it reach 100k I'm sure it will in next 5 years..

Reading the earliest posts in this thread is almost quaint! Back when this thread was posted, everyone was saying "hold on to the end of the year, the halving is coming and could really boost the price." Back when the OP was posted, 12 btc was worth around $5,000, and now it's worth over $84,000. It's funny to see how far everything has come. OP even posted later in this thread remarking about how far the price has come (it was at $730 at the time) and how happy he was with that. Flash forward to today, 10x later...

How you invest this depends on how you achieve that bitcoin in first time.
1. If you buy it at a certain price, and now you already make profit from it, i suggest you to take your initial investment, so it is your return of investent, and foe the coins left, you can use it or maybe keep it as the price always increases right now, it drops a bit, but always go up after that.
2. If you achieve it by working and not using a single money to buy it, than you can cash some to feel rewarded of your job this time, and still, you can keep it at your wallet and wait for the price to increases more
3. Or you can buy other coins and join some project that you like on this forum. Since this forum has a lot of interesting project to support and gain more from.
Well it is all come back how is your condition economically, if you have a well steady paid job, than i suggest you do some calculation on what price mark will you be selling that bitcoin

Wow, If you have that amount until now, You are being rich because bitcoin today is high up the value of bitcoin. But if you asking where you invest that btc, I will suggest that invest it in trading. In trading their is posibility that your bitcoin is more double and less scam because trading is legit. Just learn all the bitcoin and altcoin currency and how it is drop and up in a time.

Is it better to just diversify it into different good coins in the market because the market of altcoins and bitcoin are the same right now because they are dumping and buying those good coins in altcoins is a good option and with that 12 bitcoins you have a strong purchasing power so if i were you, i will just keep on holding and diversifying it into different good altcoins.

My advice for you is to keep and save that 12 btc of yours. 12 btc is a huge amount of money so you better be careful when using or investing it. If youre planning to invest it, try to do some research first to the company you want to invest. Its better to be safe than sorry. Also, wait until the price of bitcoin become high so that if you trade or convert your btc, you will easily become a rich man.
