Blockchain is okay, I created my first wallet on coinbase, they are also pretty good secured and to be honest online wallets are no the securest wallets these days.
You can better now take a paper wallet so you cannot get hacked in the most cases.

Never used a web wallet, and never will, I use Electrum and it's great for me, I only believe in desktop or mobile wallets, never web wallets.

The same as your wallet. my first wallet is electrum and its easy to create wallet in electrum and its easy to use.. but the problem is the fee for every transaction is not free unlike other web wallet like coinbase...

First I was with Coin base, they think they own your money, and they only send the transactions to blockchain.info

I could do that myself, so I did made an account on  https://blockchain.info

Coinbase has terrible support also.

I've tried multibit too when i started but it needed a lot of time to sync, so I opened an account with blockchain.info. A few months later coinbase opened shop so i made an account there (and it is my main wallet now) but blockchain was my first site.

There is no way to hack paper wallet and it is true that Coinbase is very good secured. As i know from all online wallets and exchanges Coinbase have the best security.
Anyway, my first wallet was MultiBit, but now I'm not too happy with him. It seems to me that the most practical is Electrum.

Offcourse, like every newbie , I have also created my first bitcoin wallet on blockchain. And loose it too, because I didn't have an idea that I have to save the mnemonics of  that btc account.

My first wallet was blockchain.info. But then a friend told me that coinbase paid for your transaction fees, so I switched to there. When I amassed 1 btc, I bought a ledger wallet. That's what I use now.

I started using bitcoin from coinbase online wallet. After i realize that online wallets are not safe, i migrated to desktop wallet and mobile wallets. But still, i'm keeping few amount on online wallet.
