So I could use these to say make chicken Marsala? But I don't ever make it with an ounce of mushrooms jeez. Any other dishes you can suggest to make with these? I tried googling but I must be googling the wrong stuff

Chicken Marsala + morels would be AMAZING I'm sure.

It takes about half a pound of fresh Morels to make 1 ounce dried.

If this is true then your prices are actually quite good.. I see fresh Morels for sale locally a lot and have friends that pick and sell them.
I have handled dried morels many times but never weighed them dry.. We run a needle and thread through them to hang and dry them..

All you have to do with dry ones is soak em in water just like he says, it is very common practice..

We make spaghetti with morels, sometimes venison.

I think I like them best sliced in half, battered and fried by themselves..

Bought some a month or two ago. Soaked in salt water for a few hours, then chopped and sauteed with garlic and red peppers, and used saute mixture to top grilled new york strip steaks with some butter on top. Tres bien

Morels are really hard to find and if you found them in a store... they are going to be a MUCH higher price than this.  Morels are damn near impossible to farm and the entire industry is pickers (which I like supporting as well.)

I've seen Morels for sale in a small handful of places.  I don't care for Whole Foods morel quality and they are over $400 per pound... the San Francisco ferry building has a NICE mushroom outlet that sells really good quality shit (expensive but worth it.)

My mushrooms are as good or better than the ferry building.

These are the best mushroom in the world eating wise in my opinion.  I like Morels a lot more than Truffles and such.

Morels go amazing with steak and seafood because the texture of the mushroom is just... perfect.

I try to only sell shit I don't mind getting stuck with.  We eat Morels around once every two weeks at my house (sometimes more...)

Tonight, we had a nice chicken with sauce and well-salted garlic morels on the side (using a locally distributed basil infused olive oil.)

I normally hate the texture of mushrooms, but after doing a little bit of research it looks like morels are closer to truffles than mushrooms and I'm always willing to give something a try. Earlier in the thread it read as though shipping prices were a bit of a concern for smaller orders. I am interested in a sample if you are still offering that as an option; this would give me a chance to taste them and see if I want to buy a few ounces for steaks and Marsala.

As long as you hook me up with some tips on how to prepare them, maybe even some recipes I would probably be a repeat customer unless I dislike their taste. I'm optimistic though!

I was thinking steak would be a nice dinner for them to pair with, but please give me some suggestions. I did a little reading that said they are good to crumble over dishes while dry, and a plethora of people that cover it in flour and fry them.
