Hi guys its my first ever post here!  I've been thinking about getting into bitcoin for a while and though everyday it seems to trade at a new record high I figure I might as well take the plunge now and hope for the best!

Being based in the UK its a bit tricky to get a decent price on BTC. I decided my best shot would be to buy Ukash GBP, convert to USD then fund a CashU account to purchase at Mt.gox.   However it turns out that UK Ukash is not accepted by cashU even after converting the currency.  Luckily Ukash have offered to convert the cash back to GBP again.

At this point I have searched high and low for a Ukash GBP to b=BTC exchange point.  The only one I have found is www.bitcoin-services.co.uk
However there seems to be very little evidence of people using this site and I was wondering if anyone else has used the service in the last month and can vouch for it?  There is one post from around 3 weeks ago asking similar questions about this site but no-one replied: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=151082.0

If anyone else on here could offer Ukash GBP to BTC with good references then I'd be interested to deal with them too.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hey thanks for that link!  Not good reading but I think I'll save my Ukash vouchers for a more reputable trader, surely there must be one?
