Russia’s National Cryptocurrency Would Ban Rivals

Russia’s Deputy Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service just revealed that discussions are underway between the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance regarding a national cryptocurrency.

Expect to see a private permissioned Blockchain where every individual will have to reveal all their private details. Governments like this want to use this technology to track citizens finances... and if

they implement it that way, they have even more control over them. Currently cash and Bitcoin gives them too much freedom... and for this reason, they will ban it in the future. You still cannot stop

people from buying and trading Bitcoin in the black market and on the internet.  Grin
