Real people paid real money at those levels. And China ended up leading the way. |

Real people paid real money at those levels. And China ended up leading the way. And how we can be sure that there is no another 'bot trading' behind the curtains anytime bitcoin price rise so high and so fast? We had not idea about Willy bot at that time it was active either. |

I find it was the highest price I've ever seen since I knew bitcoin. we all hope the price will rise and rise. it is a little bit stable this week, but increasing price is better haha |

what capitalization?  ?? BTC is a hype. there is no capitalization in the true sense of this word  Huh, capitalization = total money invested in Bitcoin holdings, period. You are the one not making sense. I can sell anyone one BTC right now for more than 500 dollars, and they will give me those 500 dollars, that's real life, not hype. |

We can't. And more than likely it is happening. And there's nothing illegal about it at present in most territories. I am sure a lot of people are using their own version of bot in trading. Personally, I thin we can kind of see the trend: from $400-420 jumped one step to $440-450, then another to $470, then another to $490, and now testing $530-$550. It seems like some bots will help to sell whenever there is about 5-10% increase. |

We used to have much, much more. I personally expect to see price over $600 soon.

The exchangers cartel (yes, there is ONE), are playing with the bot according to their "needs". They learnt from Gox that it's not good to be greedy you have to be blind to not see this thing. there are 5-6 exchangers who are making the BTC price as they want... |

This is great news i just hope that it continues to rise i am sure we will see the usual round of news items coming up soon. and to think bitcoin was at half this price in september of 2015, i only wish i had bought more then.....lol  |

Most of these amounts are only owned by a few people/individual/group. It's kind of sad about that but even so, we're seeing good numbers here. It was only around $7.2 billion nearly a week ago and just how are you not surprised that it went nearly over $1bill. I expect this cap will rise even further.

I think finally breaking $8 Billion in Market cap for the first time in probably slightly over a year or two is a great thing. We'll see if more people start taking notice of this, but I for one am more interested to watch the numbers game playing out rather than just seeing my investment go up in value. I wonder who in the world is pulling the strings right now to cause this, and if all the normal people like us will be able to keep with the pace being set right now.
If we can break $8.5B again, I think we'd have good reason to be immensely excited.
