It is the handicap and the bet result is determined by the final score after handicap applied to it. In short, that bet on France -0.5 will win only if France wins by 1 goal or more. If it were a two game knockout then I would tend to agree with you.  But since it's only one game, anything can happen.  Luck will be a big factor here as a little slip up from a better team could be the end of their tournament.  Conte could out fox Spain here as he has shown in their match vs Belgium.

In my opinion Croatia played better than Portugal on this match and the previous, but on football luck is important, and Portugal had luck on lats minute and scored.

When there is a goal so late in the match, Croatia is bound to be disappointed.
The match was quite boring for most part.
I guess Portugal just got lucky.

Portugal is always a lucky team, the got to the top 16 stages and thats where the luck plays vital part and now they got into top 8 places with  late goal as well however this time they atleast are much better then they were in the group stages, atleast this time its kinda like they deserves to get this luck

France is the big favorite today to win vs Ireland and I think they will do this in regulation time so I will bet on France ML. I think they will manage to sneak a cheeky goal at least in the second half of the match to win the game.
Looks like Germany is not the powerhouse any more that they used to be during the World Cup in Brazil and I think they will have some problems vs Slovakia but I think they will win the match today with one or two goals. I fancy betting on Germany to win the game and under 2.5 goals.
Hungary showed some great performance against big teams but I think Belgium will stop them today with superior gameplay and more skilled players. Now that Croatia is out of the tournament Belgium can step up their game and reach the final. They have the potential to do it today so Belgium to win. Good luck guys
