zby and others:

this is exactly the reason why I do not count the minor subwaves. the risk for error is too high.

I have focused more on the bigger picture which told me that the likelihood is very high that we will enter a major rally.

I think we are in the wave 3 up now which will be much stronger than wave 1 (and wave 1 was +56% !!!)

Some people may be surprised if BTCUSD slices through 4 $ like butter.

Do you mean three-digit prices in 2012?

If we are really in major wave 3 up, then 3 digits are entirely possible. but lets first see a rise above 4-5 $, then 10$, and retest 32 $. then we can talk higher targets

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I pledge another 1 BTC for the 100,000 viewer.

And if this can't be tracked in time, we will postpone to the 111,111 viewer or 150,000 ...

hey, if you believe that 1 btc will be worth >$1000 at some pt soon in the future you'd be all over this.

edit:  since you don't see any value in this, then if you win, we'll give the 2 btc to someone else.  how's that?

I really don't care.  "I'm a nihilist, not a stylist".

Have you ever played the Bitlotto or the Bitlotto Jr.?  Those are some good odds there.  I still haven't won, though.

How about that Bitcoin Flower?  I spent an entire 24 hours one time, clicking it every ten minutes, (it supposedly opens for a fifteen minute span), and failed to win that.

I don't think the trend will be reversing any time soon.

Hey, if you believed that, you would sell everything for Bitcoins and take a loan (shorting fiat). Oh wait, this has already happened in summer. Grin

I was autorefreshing the speculation thread every 5 seconds. Towards the end it was 5-6 views per refresh. It went 99990 to 99996 at which i clicked on the thread. then the refresh was at 100003. If someone has access to the logs this could be verified by ip address which im sure has to be logged somewhere.

If you just refreshed the page constantly, it wouldn't increase the view count, I checked that beforehand. I did a few tests, and found it would increase the view count only if you visited a different page inbetween. So, I opened two tabs on different pages, and started mashing F5 on them alternately. This way I did roughly the last 80 views.

Conclusion: anyone just refreshing the thread didn't get it. Anyone watching the speculation forum listing the views, and hitting the thread at the right moment has a small chance. I (think I) have a reasonable chance.
