It's twice as efficient as Z9, though less price/performance if you consider the $250 x2 coupons we were given. Batch 2 ship Aug 15, which will beat bitmain's 2nd batch too. Given that $400 coupons can be found for $200, the Z9 is ~$650 for batch 2 and innosilicon needs to sell at $3250 or less in batch 2 to beat Z9's price/perf. Well it's only 2.5x the efficiency, not as bad as Siacoin's A3 to S11 situation. But it's a generation jump and will be significant when equihash mining matures. Woah but sales price at $9,999 makes no sense. I guess it is on a lower number node? This reminds me of the ant D3 miner. The ant Z9 is a ant D3 and the inno A9 is a dash A5. The A5 Dash was sold for 10k and buyers got it few months later instead of on time. The ant D3 was shipped fast but so many were sold that no one broke even.... I hope u guys think hard here. U may wanna take note wat i wrote above in the thread. I could be wrong and it could turn out differently. I was thinking about it myself but now i am thinking again because the A9 appeared. Difficulty will be higher. But if u have big coupons, agreed that the risk is lower. If only inno and Bitmain can sit down and talk things through ...but I guess hell will freeze over first lol |

maybe . I really hope they go lower watts with it. I have space I do not have a ton of cheap power available I would like to use a piece of gear that does 800 watts and mines 12000 th that would be 0.0667 watts a gh most likely it will use 1300 watts and do 18th which is 0.0722 watts a gh. the t1 does 14.2 th at 1300 watts which is 0.0915 watts Beaware of S11 SCAM!! In attachmed "description" scammers offer :

Power Consumption: 1400w using Bitmain APW3 1600W
for $2300
and ask for BTC?LTC payments
By the way, BTC address they put on email - already received more than 2 bitcoins (!)  Be very cautious. |

Will revisit in a few months. I also received that S11 Scam email, anyone know how they got all of our information? It was actually extremely legitimate looking as it was in the same format Bitmain usually sends them. Looks like it was worth it for them as they've already made 2 BTC |

I have an S9 whose 3rd chain GH/S(RT) is showing all zeros when it should be 4,500.88
I have rebooted & updated firmware but no change.
Any ideas?

Almost certainly you have a dead hashboard. You can switch signal cables (for example 1 to 3 and 3 to 1) to rule out malfunction on control board. If the problem moves to different slot you'll know it's the hashboard. Unfortunately for warranty repair you need to ship the entire miner to Bitmain, if you still are under warranty period. |

I'm still trying to decide whether or not I should sell my S9's and the 1 L3+ that I have. It's getting too hot to mine here this summer and I'm not sure if I should hold out for the market to return or not.. any advice on what you guys are doing?
