I agree, you guys know Laszlo? The one whou bought pizza in 10,000 btc. I think that's how small 1000btc before. And good thing for people who kept lot of bitcoins and didn't made what Laszlo did. But there is a big different with a user who hold lots of bitcoin with Laszlo, A bitcoin holder is rich while Laszlo is a legend. He's the one who did a big progress on bitcoin.

i think that guy also invented gpu mining for bitcoin too. he occasionally pops up on here still. i'm sure he still has a few coins to play with.

Rich

Not just rich. In my opinion someone with 1000btc is highly rich and had earned for few generations very successful and luxurious living.
yes obviously its really a big amount and its around 670k $  worth but as we can see price of bitcoin going up and up its normal to hit 1 million $ for 1000 BTC Cheesy

He will be called bitillionaire if the price reaches 1000. There are many words that we can appreciate the person with, one is "the big bulltard". Tongue

Makes me wonder why he didn't been place as staff or something as a part of bitcoin. If he did invented gpu mining then he really made a big part on this coin. He's so underrated in my own opinion.

Someone with a million dollars, euros, pounds or pesos is a millionaire. No one (Okay maybe Satoshi) has a million Bitcoins and probably never will.

So what's someone with BTC1000 called? A thousandaire? There's got to be a better name. 'Bitcoin Whale' is just so meaningless and some people don't consider BTC1000 a whale anyways.

What should we call a Bitcoin thousandaire?

Update: We should come up with a name for someone with a thousand Bitcoins. Why, you ask? We need to stop converting Bitcoins to fiat and vice versa. Treat it as a currency or a vessel to hold your wealth. Saying someone with 1000 Bitcoins is 'someone with $400,000USD' will be pointless at some point in our lifetimes.

Let's come up with a name so we stop comparing Bitcoins to fiat. You wouldn't tell someone with 10M pesos that because they're worth less than dollars they aren't a millionaire based on American dollars. You also wouldn't compare USD to gold anytime someone brought up how much a house costs.

Me: "Hey Bill. I'm buying the big house at the top of the hill for $1,000,000"
Bill: "Oh so like 25kg of gold?"

That's just ludicrous. No one compares different currencies or vessels of wealth as much as Bitcoiners. Let's stop it by coming up with basic terms.
I think i called that a millionaire's people because of that 100BTC. Because the value of 1BTC is 31,763 Philippine money. How about 1000BTC. 😂 thats a very big amount. But it is very difficult to reach that amount. It take a long time ago.  Or maybe no one has reach that kind of amount. Because very Lucky people can have that. 😂

I will call him a bitcoin elite, others with much higher and bigger stocks can be called bitcoin masters, bitcoin lord. Ha-ha this topic is funny but let's just call them a millionaire or a billionaire since we are looking how much dollars he can get with his bitcoins. So lets just stick to the common ones to avoid complications and misunderstandings.

bitcoin is just a digital point which have some monetrary valies so is it good to cosider it as a "millineare" word because its not about the paper money and bitcoin has a diffrent place value system. how about a bitcologist or something like that or bithousand choosing a name is very hard
