Embarrassed Guh, that sounds like a scam alright. Apparently, there are really a lot of those around here. You need to make sure anyone you deal with has a strong reputation for honesty at stake or it looks like they'll just bleed you dry.

You might want to look and see if this is already in the scams part of the forum. If you don't see it there, maybe a mod will let you post about your experience with that site there.

Well because i wasent 100% sure (the dev is more then welcome to contact me of course) i though i would just put it here for now but i will seach the forums for it.
If a mod feels it necessary then by al means move the post or ill be happy to repost in the scams section Cheesy

EDIT:
i have just searched the forums for "virtualminer" and have come across no other mention of a scam and the dev seems to be a "Hero Member" with over 850 Posts.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2 << that is the seach results i cam up with.

i will PM the developer a gauge the response from there as to whether this post should be deleted or not.

Though the fact still remains i cannot Email the dev nor is there any contact details on the site still looks rather Shady.

Cheers

Could you please look up the TXs?

I might mention that Virtualminer is a game that is running now for the better part of two years but had a hibernation since november due to real life problems. I guarantee, and so can a lot of users, that this game is no scam. So i would like you to ask to remove this post until we cant come to a conclusion. But starting such a thread BEFORE contacting me makes me think that you want to blackmail me. That is not a nice move.

I have used this game without issue from when it first came out. And have found when I have contacted natchwind hes got back to me within a few hrs.

So scam 100% no.

I understand people are frustrated with the offline time and whatnot but shit happens. But anyway dig out the TX first as it could of been a simple error somewhere.

His email might have been down, or he might have been doing maintenance, you don't know, but don't accuse if you don't get a response right away.

I have checked those two TXs he provided and see multiple reasons as of why they didnt were sent to me:
- My tracker in the database shows no transaction to the account (i have two users closely matching that name - and i was not yet given an username).
Every Address is only used once for the tracker so i checked the addresses using blockchain.info and
- Both TXs that were given to me dont show outputs to my coldwallet - which pretty much every transaction does due to my cold-wallet policy.
- Rescanning the wallet three times now showed no transactions after the 5th of december. (typo in the PM here, sorry) One of the two transactions was done on 12/21/12 the other one on 11/01/12. I see no transactions for both days on my wallet - or close to that. There were no transactions between 8/9/12 and 21/11/12,

So.. i dont want to say you are a liar, maybe you just mixed up transaction IDs, but there was definetly nothing received on my side.

*edit* for transparency:
TXs that i was given:

<moderator_hat>
If you wish the whole thread deleted you'll have to ask everyone to delete their own replies before I can delete the entire thread. If you don't manage to get all replies deleted, maybe you can move it yourself to the archive, or something.
