There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

my math sucks, and kids have tired me out , but just a question on when we use gb to buy gold, will that page be like stock market? fluctuating with the gb market and the actual gold price? looks like if gb gets to 4k should be able to buy 2.5g gold for 10000gb ( very apx numbers )

No, it will not be like stock market, there will be fixed offers like every online shop. We have no plan yet to build our own exchange, where people can withdraw gold, thanks for the idea, but that would be among last and most expensive developments for GoldBlocks.

And here is how official GB mining pool looks now. Everything works fine, it was tested so, miners, you are more then welcome to mine there.

http://goldblocks.granitecoin.com/

tanx for that darkgold ...

yes - it was fully fledged on sunday morning ( now sunday afternoon here ) ...

there should be no issues with it - as a full week of testing ironed out any issues ...

and miners please note - there are TWO stratums for mining this pool ...

low difficulty ...

Code:
stratum+tcp://goldblocks.granitecoin.com:8000/

and

high difficulty ...

Code:
stratum+tcp://goldblocks.granitecoin.com:8500/

please use the appropriate stratum - as when you are renting a lot of hash ( for example nicehash or miningrigrentals ) - if you are using the lodiff stratum ( port 8000 ) - the site will know that it cannot handle the high hash rate on that lodiff stratum ...

if you set the high hash rates to the hidiff stratum - it will work accordingly ...

the 'home' page will be sorted very shortly also - which will have all this info to reassure all miners that the stability and speed of this pool is not compromised in anyway ... its on one of the best servers on the planet - and one of the most responsive systems available today - with one of the highest bandwidths ...

so hash your heart out guys - and BUY GOLD with the results ...

WOW do we get a nice piece of jewelry thrown in as well?  Smiley I am a lady and haven't barely any bling bling.. If you sell jewelry as well and also give free GB let me know.. First we need the gold of course..  I like that heart on the bottom right lol..

Is it possible in the future for us to buy jewelry and also collect coins?
When I have enough money spare and want t buy gifts say for my family or say something even for myself can we do that also as well as the Bullion?
Just a thought..
