Don't mean to criticize but this thread and project has been quiet for months from development side. Which is clearly shown in the price drop to 300 sats over the last weeks.

Dev you had shown some images of what is coming (android wallet etc.) on August 25th. When will the investors/community get an update on the ETA and the roadmap ahead? Its quite depressing that being an early supporter of the coin there has been no information provided and left in limbo.

GB thread is quiet, yes, because i do not talk too much, sorry for that.
I know that is quite depressing waiting, but as you can see we always update here whatever we have new.
I don't have much time to make big conversation or debates here, our team is always working in background, this project is not funded with any ico or members here on bitcointalk, but it's funded by Multigroup Slovenia. Because company entered with a good nice amount to develop everything for GB. Beside wallets, pools, exchanges, nodes, servers, translations, graphcs, websites, payments options and so on, company invested in gold plastic branded cards and t-shirts and their delivery to end users. Special software is developed in background, so because of complexity, it takes time, GB team dont want to fix bugs after launch, so it will take more time until launch. Marketing Company in Germany have been hired, There will be meeting between GB company manager and representatives from that marketing company in Germany these days, i think will be in Wednesday. i, personallly will no be part of that meeting. And i am not allowed to publish anything more than i already did.
I respect you patience, but as you can see, GoldBlocks is still in phase of distribution, that will last until Jun 2017. GB is not instant currency that will pump and die as you already know.
Halving approaching around new year. Block reward will drop from 20 to 5GB. I am impatient too, but to have all features, and to have real worth of GB, we need to wait distribution to be over, to cut inflation. That will take some time.

Hmm, maybe his original name and his old coin didn't turn out so well!

How obvious is this!

This is mentioned many times in this 60 pages and is bored.

Thanks for the reply and for understanding the depression with the low prices.  There is clear development happening behind the scenes or I am sure you would have stopped replying and making efforts to getting pools and exchanges on board.

It would be great to get an understanding where the project is headed and some more information on what the software is being built for.  It would atleast give the community something to look forward to or atleast understand what GB is about.

I'm running my wallet 24/7 on Windows, and I've noticed that the wallet consumes more resources on my machine than any other that I'm also running on same Machine. It uses form 90 MB to 180 MB of memory. Is there any plans to build a low weight Windows wallet in the future?

Is there any plans also to be at CryptoID?

thx!

Also a concern of mine. Would be nice to have a more efficient wallet.

More efficient wallet is already published on Op.

http://goldblocks.eu/wallets/GoldBlocks-simple-wallet.exe

From my experience this wallet is also extremely slow syncing and heavy resource consuming piece of software. Even the ethereum mist wallet syncs much much faster.

Why is this wallet for me so extremely slow in sync? I have never before experienced anything near that slow wallet in almost 3 years.  Do I need a core I7@4Ghz minimum to normally sync this wallet?
It consumes up to 100% of the resources for maybe few blocks per minutes.  Huh Intel Haswell platform+SSD here!

Am I missing something here dev? Any recommended tips for this situation? I already tried everything that I know so far and is still extremely slow.

A lot of people are staking and no one has problems, however, here is some steps to speedup sync:

Close GB wallet
Add/replace conf and peer files in folder: C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Goldblocks
Download them from here:
goldblocks.conf
peers.dat

Download lightweight wallet if you dont want to use the full featured one. It will take less of your resources.

If you want further more to speed up sync please download GB blockchain of 320000 blocks and replace files in roaming folder. Be sure to keep your wallet.dat file in place.

Start your wallet, and after short time you should see something like this:

btw, all nodes and config is published on Op, you should really check it and read before you get involved.
However here are the nodes:
