Cool, I'm on-board.  The more ways to distribute the network, the better.  I'll point some hash to stratum, ColMayhem.

If miners keep an eye on their terminals/logs for pool interupptions, they'll start to notice lost shares across the pools with high hash rate starting to rack up and greatly reduce their efficiency.
