Ethereum isn't dead, and has been affected by nothing. The "hack" is related to The DAO, so except a temporary loss for Ethereum, there's nothing from its side.

ETH was at ~$10 when DAO started. Now it has 'plummeted' to $17.The horror. Also Waves and ETH address 2 different concerns. Same with Waves and Lisk. Not comparable other than launching near same time. Dev Eco System vs DEX
