problem s7 asic#

Hello:
I currently have 5 s7 rigs, and 2 of them started to show less numbers of basic# and 1 only 2 x.
I updated the firmware, by the way, i didn't know which one to choose and did it with the 700m thinking it is the clock number it had on the previous firmware... but the problem still there.
any help?

Too late, but don't ever do firmware  to fix shit ask people first.

bitmaintech has had poor firmware upgrade record.

It does not allow me to view screenshots might check links.  With spaces and stuff appears to be invalid.

Also I would try to switch PSU off working one to one that is not, to rule out PSU.  If you could post screenshot of status page (not sure if that is what you tried above).   But that shows us if 1 blade or all blades.  Just gives a little more info.

What site are you trying to upload images to?   If you have one I personally use photobucket and works perfect here, there are other options to.  I am kinda fond of photobucket after having so many pictures for reviews uploaded to it and it's still working great for me.

These miners are starting to fail, due to bad design, bad engineering and bad QC at Bitmain factory. Rising temperature as we near summer is also contributing to the S7 going bad. Nothing lasts forever, you know.

These miners are starting to fail, due to bad design, bad engineering and bad QC at Bitmain factory. Rising temperature as we near summer is also contributing to the S7 going bad. Nothing lasts forever, you know.

I have 2x batch-1 and 3x b2 s7's as well as many other up to batch-17  that have been running non stop since getting them all in a very warm area. As i wintertime ambient was 85F and now in summer is banging around 95-98F with zero issues.

That said, I *do* have 2 later batch s5's that do the same thing. From time to time would drop a a card and on soft reboot either the entire card was gone or would show a few missing chips in 2 rows. usually a hard boot would bring them back to life for weeks-months and at the most inconvenient time drop out again. Finally 1 always showed missing chips so it and the other were among the 1st replaced by s7's.

When each S7 is powered on and hashing, please take a look at the S7 from the top.  Specially near the PCI-E power plug area.  You should see LITTLE RED LED flashing on the hash PCB that is working. 

If you can find the hash PCB with no RED LED, that is more than likely the non-hashing PCB.

You can send it to Hong Kong if the unit is still under warranty, or you can send it to USA for repair with fee. 

*NOT ALL DAMAGED HASH PCB CAN BE REPAIRED. SOME ARE SIMPLY DEAD AND CAN NOT CPR TO LIFE... (If you see PCB burnt and layers peeling off as example)
