The East German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is going to polls today. Anti-immigrant parties (AfD and NPD) are expected to make big gains. The first exit polls will be out in the next few hours.

The NPD is out of the Landtag with 3.5% (you need 5%).

It seems there will be a SPD-CDU coalition.

Btw. Afd reminds me of the German pirate party which got huge gains in several Landtagswahlen but got lost in the Bundestagswahlen and is now nearly non existent in Germany.
