Bitcoin is dying?!

According to Mike Hearn's blog, he said the Bitcoin is failing and dying so he sold all his Bitcoin. Is it really true or it is just his marketing strategy?

The market cap like 2.5 billion off the ATHs isn't it ? the hash rate is higher than ever before.  Looks to me like he wants to buy more bitcoin at a cheaper price else why does he bother even making an official 'im quiting bitcoin' announcement?

Bitcoin and its derivatives are still in infancy.  It will probably take a world crisis to bring it to the forefront since banks will then come under marshall law and trading bitcoin
will become an alternative faster than trading gold for services.  Once the world is using it, it should be here to stay..

Bitcoin is not dying and that is because there are also a lot of people that is hoping that the value will jump after the halving so they can earn more money with it and that would be nice.
You can even see now that Bitcoin is getting more popular so that is really nice.

We use BitCoin currency in real world, in some country there are ATM machines which we can withdraw our money with our BitCoin account.

And when you check for instance the price since that time do you think Bitcoin is going to die?
I mean serious!Would people invest a shitload of money in something that is almost dead?
Just think about that for two minutes, check the charts and then you'll know the answer.

Lol, do you see how much the price of bitcoin now ? The bitcoin's price keep raising until now and many people holding their bitcoin and wait until the halving come.

I will say this directly to make things clear: Mike Hearn is an idiot who sold himself to the banks. It's as simple as that. If I recall correctly, they knew at that R3 conference (there's a video about it) that the negative blog post and article (from NY times) were coming. It was planned.

In other words: He was spreading hyperbolic FUD. I remember the time when Bitcoin "required" 20 MB blocks or it was going to die, and yet here we are.

He has the same amount of credibility like Gavin does now. None that is.

I dont think it matters really but i dont think the coin will ever die and that is only because of the amount users he got. There are so many people who has bitcoins so dont be scared he would die because he cant.

Mike Hearn had a personal agenda against the Bitcoin Core developers because they didn't share his views about the future of Bitcoin development so he decided to call it quits and leave the team. I think his blog post was more of a personal vendetta against the Bitcoin community than a reasonable resignation letter. But as we can see the Bitcoin price has started rising even though the halving hasn't even started yet so I am inclined to believe that Bitcoin has a bright future ahead despite the droves of naysayers saying otherwise. Mike Hearn's anger and disappointment probably got the better of him but this doesn't mean that his statements hold water right?

I dont think the bitcoin would die ever that depends about how many users he will have left after a coupe of years but in my opinion the coin wont be disappear if we all keep using them.

The fact is that BTC price is strongly going up latest two weeks. Today BTC price is around 582 USD. This is best evidence, that BTC have good future.

Bitcoin is not dying but it is only getting harder to earn Bitcoins. I do not know how they are going to stop this but they have to come up with a solution so that they will keep going in the future.
