So the Hash Rate stayed up Yesterday giving us +18.06% with 170 Blocks. It's still high so far this Morning and the Period to Date Run Rate now sits at -2.76%. If it stays at the current rate until the end of the Period I think we will land around Zero.

Price looking good with another positive Day Yesterday and we have this Morning just crossed £400, which is very nice.  Smiley

we have 227 blocks to go   and we are 34 blocks under 0%    so  a big finish could get us as high as +1.5%.

so if you have a pick from -3 to + 2  you could win as of now.

If my -1.2 comes in it is a rollover.
I think everyone below can still win.

-3.0 = RichBC
-2.5 = Lindin99

-2.2 = slastar

-2.0 = HagssFIN
-1.9 = Notlist3d

http://data.bitcoinity.org/bitcoin/hashrate/7d?c=m&t=a

check that out.. So it looks to me at quick glance that bitfury has a ton more hash then first thought.. Looks like their farm went down by looking at their hash rate over last couple days.> So that leaves me to believe that bitfury has well over 500 peta. maybe more..  sure is funny that all the pools dropped when bitfury fell off the map.

Best Regards

it looks like, btc difficulty skyrocketing like the previous adjustment, i think they are pulling off some machines while they are turning on new equipments.

I really want to see the hashing number after having.  I think there are some machines like A1's, and such that have been hanging around on very low priced electricity.  I think having we could lose some gear (which is good as far as those who have newer gear).  Guess we have to wait and see.

The BTC price right now is around 583 so a little increase from yesterday but not the surge I was hoping.

We also gained value today which is good coinbase is currently 590.  So gaining around 7 dollars or so in a day not bad.  Were inching closer and closer to the 600 number.  I am worried a little bit that there could be some sell walls keeping 600 down for a bit.  But time will tell.

Overall this is looking like it will be a good difficulty period.  On the 25th we were around 450 so that is around 40 dollars in added value in one period.  If we get that with a small negative or even small positive that is a great period in my book.

So we have had two big Days, both coincidently with +18.06% and 170 Blocks.... The rate this Morning has however pulled back a bit and it looks like we will coast to the finish line sometime either late Today or more likely early Tomorrow, probably in the -1% to -2% region?.

Another positive Day for the coin, making it 6 in a row, continuing the steady climb up.

Looks like the engine just started again and harder then the first time.
I have to wonder if this in intentional difficulty manipulation, or just coincidence.  It keeps happening, but seems to be even more pronounced lately.  If it is possible to control the network difficulty without a 51% style attack, then I don't think the future of Bitcoin is very bright.

I just don't see a 51 percent attack happening by anyone related to bitcoin.  It would be a huge scandal and lose who know's how much value on BTC price.  So if someone has 51 percent... they would be losing money long term to preform it.  It would hurt them long term so cant imagine big company doing it.

So if being manipulated I don't think it is for attack.   It would be other reasons which would all be speculation.

this is a case of bitmaintech prepping for the ½ ing.

they are in a funny spot as they have too much power and are not quite sure what to do with it.

I believe they can build 2000ph anytime they want to.

not only can they build it they can do it at a lower cost then people think.

the problem is they are stuck behind the firewall of China and don't want big block size.

that limits transactions.  which means btc could be a dead end. with the ½ing  or the next one.

or (my hope)  btc acts like a high way for eth coin  .   and eth coin does tons of transactions and is converted to btc.

the transaction value of btc is becoming pretty worthless  as it is not that cheap  and you can't make 1,000,000 an hour.

almost done with blocks now.
