Anyone know of an active pool?
I use to mine 42-coin, and wouldn't mind doing so again.

It's on my pool, the miners multipool and it's often mined: www.zpool.ca

Cheers

we've updated our 42 wallet to the latest version.

Cheers

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

I remember this coin at cryptsy in those days it was value 700 btc per 42 coin, will such glory come back? i used to admire it then but i could not afford it but now i would give it a shot.
How do you think how many coins have been stoles from cryptsy?

I have an idea to secure the coin better and more decentralized with PoS. I am very active in Nxt the past few years (not a stakeholder) and the development of Nxt 2.0 (Ardor) is ongoing. Ardor will be a motherchain that secures childchains. 42 Coin can be one of the first childchains on Ardor. The tech and network is then secured and by Ardor, so it will be safe and usable.

Also from PR point of view it will be good promotion for 42Coin. Ardor is full in the news the past months and when 42Coin is one of the first use cases it will get attention too!

I work together with the foundation and marketing team of Nxt and Ardor and I might can get things done with them.

Maybe your idea is not bad, but who will create and support the wallet for it?
Currently we already have developed a new client with features not worse than the Ardor platform can propose. And according to the voting results it will be available for the tests soon.

There is no need to create a wallet. Everything runs in the Ardor Client then. It's the same as Nautiluscoin which is a Monetary System Coin in Nxt. Ardor (=new Nxt) just helps to secure transactions and reach consensus.

But you guys are mostly oldfashion miners? In the Monetary System of Nxt it's also possible to create a coin which is Mintable. https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/Monetary_System

What if whoever stole them swaps them for the new coins?

After the old dev launched this coin someone discovered he premined or instamined half a coin for himself. If ye didn't dump them all what's going to stop him swapping them for the new coins?

The cryptsy coins and the old dev's coins being swapped could make some huge 42 coin whales.

Oк, another questions: 1. Will you be able to run the chain for 42-coin on Ardor? 2. How much this will cost ? 3. When the client will be available?  (~approximately)

Most of them already dumped. Hendo420 coins were dumped in January 2014. These coins cost less than $50 now...

That's not a bad idea. 42 coin associating themselves with a coin that's going to be in the news.

Yes, it could be nice PR too. I can talk with the Nxt foundation or Jelurida BV if they want to help make it succeed.  Smiley

If you guys do not open port #24242 today, 42 will be delisted from cryptopia tomorrow Cry :

Quote
Hi,  lack of nodes is the reason, and from the boss: "if 42 coin can maintain some nodes, then it doesn't have to be delisted"
MrFloppy: 10/10/2016 10:40:08 AM

Please, open port #24242 in your router/firewall, otherwise 42 will be delisted from Cryptopia!
