Question: [CLOSED] Round 2. Should we increase the minimum recommended tx fee in order to motivate PoW-miners (this will also increase the deflation rate)?
1) change to 0.00001000
2) leave the  0.00000001

New wallet version is released, 42-v0.0.9:

  • Fix MintProbability column;
  • add new checkpoints;
  • add link to prohashing.com block explorer;
  • QR Codes support for Windows;
  • release binaries no longer compressed, should works faster;
  • builds for Win, MacOS and Linux now only with with bdb, for android - with leveldb;
  • minor bugs fixes and security updates.

Upgrade instructions?  My guess is to

start new 42 wallet,
let it sync,
close wallet,
replace wallet.dat file with previous verson's backup of wallet.dat file,
restart new wallet?

1. Close the wallet.
2. Replace 42-qt with the new one.
3. Run the wallet.

Hi, Cop999!

You can mine 42 like any other scrypt coin, but if you are interested in reward, it is recommended to mine it on multipool prohashing.com.

The short one. The long address is for private transactions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1502028.msg17092343#msg17092343

Whooo! Just visiting Bitcointalk. Getting more visitors and conversation on the Telegram thread, and I drop into the thread on Discord.

[And I want to better understand how to do private transactions.]

To send coins from the long address go to: "Settings" > "Options..." > "Display" and check "Display coin control features (experts only!)";   then go to "Send coins" > "Inputs..." and select inputs (coins) on the address starts from "5".

Whoo! We're listed here.

And I have been talking to some guys discussing a crypto-community-adopts-a-Venezuelan-family project. It really interests me. The situation in Venezuela is making the use of cryptos as currencies a real thing.

You can still  buy cheap 42 under 4btc per coin on the exchange markets (Cryptopia, Livecoin, Tradesatoshi). Just remember that  they are only 42 coins, all wallets work perfectly  and a great team is behind this project always active and helpful!

Hey, Sirslayer. No. Did not test-drive Coin2001. Am taking a break from CEX trading (and working on my health).

And 42-coin private transactions: thanks for those details, Laser. I will eventually learn to do this; but it may be a while.

And events in Venezuela will steadily make deflationary instruments look more attractive.

Hey, Than. Me passing through on Sunday.

The Venezuela Project is going well, though we are not publicising it yet -- but Laser can get details from me. We are working with a 'suite' of three cryptos.

Back next Sunday
