Is it possible that Bitcoin can be deposited in the banks in the near future? I mean like any other currencies that can be deposited and withdraw in the banks.
I don't see any reason why we have to store our bitcoin in banks, while our bitcoin wallets are banks itself where we store our coins and it will depends to the owner of the bitcoin if what kind of wallet he/she will use a desktop, hardware, or a web wallet. Just make sure that wallet is trusted enough to store your coins because its all about money, a money online.

no matter how much you trust a site that provide a wallet for your bitcoins, it is still prone to hackers and your hard - earned bitcoin may gone in just a blink of an eye. i want bitcoin to be affiliated with banks because of the security and insurance Cheesy i know that banks are insured to their mother banks in their respective countries Cheesy

I agree, everything that is connected to internet is prone to hacking.  Even your wallet which you think is securely setup in your computer is prone to hacker.  Hackers are clever, they can steal any data from your computer in just one wrong click. Even with all the malware installed, phising, malware and virus keep on evolving.

Is it possible that Bitcoin can be deposited in the banks in the near future? I mean like any other currencies that can be deposited and withdraw in the banks.

If it becomes so (even tho you have online bitcoin banks) I don't think I'd ever deposit, since you can make your bitcoin wallet secure just as much.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

Counter methods advance too! Spending some money for ZoneAlarm and SpyShelter will keep any hacker out  Cheesy Ofc they can still try to social engineer you but that depends solely on how you manage things.

We all know how the banks system works, soo you wanna to get interest at your coins, this is already offer at bitcoin with its high volatility, do you really wanna put your coins at bank to they lend your coins to others?

Believe or not but this is already happening.
On several exchanges you can lend out yout Bitcoin for some small daily interest rates.
I myself would never do this but I know a few guys who think this is a good way to make some profits and are doing it.

Bitcoin in the banks is unlikely to happen any time soon, because it’s still not familiar in worldwide and not stable yet. Moreover, bitcoin wallets more flexible than banks, not too many rules and regulations as banks in general. Although online wallet vulnerable to hackers, the admin is constantly updating their security, we could just hope the best from them.

Unless banks have an actual secure way of keeping our coins safe, I am willing to store my coins to them but of course, at a minimal amount only as I would prefer to keep a majority for myself. It is never wrong to have many places as your 'hiding' area for your assets.
