Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

I dont know if theres a day that bitcoin will be replaced by other cryptocurrency. Because its really hard to predict. I think even theres a lot of promising crypto out there that could be alternative to bitcoin but i dont think that they can surpass bitcoin. For me bitcoin will still grow in the future and even it reached it peak no other could reach it.

Now, a lot of altcoin came out, but I saw no potential. In the near future, perhaps 5-10 years bitcoin will still dominate.

Yes, that's 100% possible to happen. As of now bitcoin is the number one in the cryptocurrencies, but we can't assure that after 10 years and above that bitcoin will still be the number one and could not be replaced. Technology is arising everyday and it's getting stronger and stronger, so that means it's very possible to happen that bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency one day.

i dont think so? well maybe another currency can go high up value as the bitcoin now but i think it won't be replaced. Im just stating my opinion but we'll never know what might happen tomorrow.

I don't think bitcoin could be replaced by any other cryptocurrencies. Yes, there may be altcoins or other e-currencies rising but when we say bitcoin, it is what it is. Bitcoin is still processing since the year 2009 (if I am not mistaken), and to exchange something else from it will be impossible. Somehow, it could manage to have competitors or rise of competitions but what bitcoin have showed us made us stay on it.

I think so. but for now it will not be replaced. perhaps if its really out of date and most of the people are now interested in bitcoin, time will
come that will think of another cryptocurrency that will replaced bitcoin. people will get tired of it as long as they are using it for a long time and they will long for another new currency

We don't know what currency will replace but I know there is a chance but that chance of making it happen is very small.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency introduced to the world in the year 2008. Because of bitcoing popularity many cryptocurrencies get introduced. Today there are more than 1000 cryptocurrencies are in existence. But among them very few are popular. Litecoin, Ethereum, Zcash, Dash, Ripple, Monero are the prominent competitors of bitcoin. These currencies have potentials to replace bitcoin in future. Sudden change in mood of investors towards these currencies or ban by all countries on bitcoin for security reasons etc can shift flow of investment from bitcoin to these currencies.

In my own opinion bitcoin will never be replaced by other cryptocurrencies who are also gaining its popularity right now, bitcoin started the rise of cryptocurrencies so I think it will stay there until the fall of all cryptocurrencies also. It makes sense cause there`s so many alt coins that raises when bitcoin is going down. maybe one day if bitcoin just if has a issue that cannot be fix there`s  a chance that bitcoin will be gone....

ETH will never overtake BTC, because the former is a scam controlled by shady characters. If another crypto is going to replace Bitcoin, then it is going to be Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Right now, it is the #3 crypto in terms of market cap and number of users and soon it will be #2 as ETH is going down constantly. And then, it is just a matter of time before it gives tough competition to BTC.
