Yeah.  Our market cap is 1/25 of Dash's even though Vcash's code is superior.

here's the gateway developed by a member from brazilian facebook's group https://www.facebook.com/groups/193155824381736/ and that makes much easier to stores and crowdfunding accept xvc:

Decentralised Payments - www.decpayments.com

Some websites using decpayments and accepting Vcash:

www.siteideia.com
www.cryptonation.soy
www.lucasmaia.blog.br
www.likeahost.com
www.blesshost.com.br

Soon to be released an online casino that will accept only vcash

P.s. cryptonation.soy is the official distributor of the ledger wallet in Brazil. Maybe we can integrate xvc on ledger hardware wallets soon Wink https://www.ledgerwallet.com/

I think the payment gateway is great.
Say I wanted to open a CSGO skin site like bitskins but accept Vcash or my wife wants to sell clothes on her site for Vcash instead of paypal, the gateway allows people like us who might not be able to code something that fits our need to accept Vcash.
I think this is part of the reason bitpay gained so much traction.
Truely dont understand @vdotcash reaction to this on twitter. Not everyone is a 1337 coder and create their own payment gateway.

Undecided come on.... I just had a look at that website and it doesn't tell anything, as if someone dropped a free template on a website with few tweaks here and there. It's not even full english, sometimes you see portuguese in the english version (ex. conditions at the registration page). Over the years, I've seen plenty of these kinds of sites come and go (sometimes with the users money).

If I were that website admin, I would take John Connor's comment as a motivation to work harder on the website and make it more legit.

anyways, I see the whales price suppressors are spining on that... Cool for me, I'm buying. thanks

+1 The site have nothing special, a page in php, nobody knows who is the Dev for sure, no location, in the end everybody knows that is a SCAM. Even for a scam this is completely newbie! Who he is trying to fool with that bullshit of "gateway"? 100% agree with John Connor attitude.

After him expanding on it in the Vcash thread his hesitation does make sense.
Like gnargnar, it should give the dev motivation

I understand and respect your view, but I just want to make it clear that isn't a scam, ok?
If you insist that it is scam, You will be calling me a scammer since i was who divulged the gateway here.
There isn't any lie in my post and if you were a little smarter appreciate what the Brazilian community was doing, because if it were not for us this currency would be for less than 10k, probably 5k it was to where she was going when we enter. And we keep buying until today.
There are stores using that gateway and it helps a lot in conversion FIAT X vcash in Brazil. A country with 220 million inhabitants.
We are 750 investors. We enter believing in the currency and in the long term. Probably 1/3 of incentive nodes must be from brazilians.
I am also a moderator on bitcoin Brazil facebook group with 20,000 members https://www.facebook.com/groups/btcbr/ , that I intended to bring a lot to invest in vcash.
I am very respected and influential in the Brazilian crypto community and have fighting a lot here on bitcointalk to defend xvc and also John Connor.
I and almost all Brazilian community were very sad about what happened.

@EmilioMann: never labeled the site as a scam, but said it was looking unfinished and not really trustworthy -in its current version-
I think also that John Connor wanted to say that and to warn user that he was not endorsing this initiative. His message was badly given and badly received.
I said in my post that the website admin should take John's comment in a positive way in order to polish the website, to raise the professionalism of that website.

I see few members of your brazilian community are perhaps those that are dumping right now. It's sad because it's an emotional and ego reaction only.
Damn... they are dumping this coin for such an undervalued price I can't believe it, but I can understand.
Rome wasn't built in a day and the decpayments website owners should take this as a hint they have things to re-work.
as a web developer myself, I can assure you that in the "real" world (non-crypto), a website like that would receive way more harsh comments and critics, just sayin'

btw, let's hope Emilio that you are really here for the long run with XVC, and not drop like you did with others coins...

Thank you for your efforts EmilioMann.  I'm very happy to have any sites and stores accepting Vcash any way they can.

My guess is that people affiliated with the gateway probably give their names, addresses, or some proof to the companies in Brazil that are using it or that they're only going to be holding a small amount in payments at any one time.

That gateway was developed by a 16-year-old boy holding his sick mother.
He is a very known and dear guy by the brazilian crypto community and only wanted to help vcash.
The criticism could have been done differently.
Some people were upset because no one from dev team appeared to thank or compliment the creator of that video too.
The thread on the official forum created to show the video made by redmanbrasil was blocked.
He blocked all brazillians who answered on Twitter, including me
JC appeared only to destroy the work in progress of the boy
and he wrote today on forum very different words of which were written on twitter last night

Since I'm in bitcointalk I say I'm looking for a special coin to real use in my country.
So far I have not had found.
Until then I can believe, then disbelieve several.
I always said that.
I will not be carrying a bag that did not deliver what it promised or revealed a scam.
I hope this does not happen to vcash.
From now I will go to ignore john connor. He must suffer asperger or something like that. I will see only the product (that is amazing) and my money, not its creator.
Unfortunately some people of my group think differently and do not want more the product too.

everything was done very fast and between known people in our community who only wanted to help promote XVC.
I agree with this criticism about the lack of information on website and if it had been made instead of that aggression, might have avoided what is happening.

Emilioman,
Don't take it personal. John is a perfectionist and security crazy dev. If a site doesn't appear secure and portray a good image of Vcash he won't approve of it. It is hard to make him happy but I am sure your work and devotion eventually will.  I think John has big plans for his coin and everything from here on out has to be extremely professional, this is no shit coin.
