Gambling needs to be fun or casino owners would make no money and casino workers would make one either. So they try make things as flashy and attractive as possible. That is why they have all these fantasy and cartoon hand drawn style themes for most of these games to make it bright and colourful, even the CGI graphics is good and makes it look like a video game. Hehe I use to think gambling machines were video games because of all the characters and fantasy artwork and storied behind each one. I like the greedy goblins one. At times I consider it fun, by the way when I get few wins. Other than those scenario I consider it to be the riskiest earning method, because on the end time of events thinking of the event result heart pumps twice that necessary. This indicates how risk it is.

This is very simple view by a gambler when we are on winning streak and gambling doing profitable job for us only in that kind of scenario we can call it fun, but when happening against our expectation it sucks and nobody can enjoy his life after losing the big amount by gambling.

I believe it is fun because the player is in a comfortable place with alot of lights and sounds coming from the machine or table that they are concentrating on. Then when they are playing they have that sense of hope and aderneline of a chance to win at something. That is the fun that most search for when they play at the casino or at any gambling game.

Doing it for profit or as an income generating activity will take out the fun in it. You'll just be stressed more if you do not win on a day, or you will be chasing your losses so you get some income. I think that is more stressful than fun. But if you do it just to relieve stress, then it can be fun win or lose.
