Any coin has its own potential, but litecoin is also a good coin and I highly appreciate this coin, the development is quite good so the coin has grown quite sharply over time

LTC has never been for the bells and whistle chasers who want hype fuel. It's for the calm and collective, for the second most secure, valuable, immutable network, for a small tradeoff in security for more scalability and faster payments. (Dont compare to other shitcoins with little to no security that are faster). I've come back to resurrect this post for you all. There will be another rise of the little giant. |

It is only personal speculation, it is impossible to completely determine the value of litecoin in the future, this giant was no longer a giant in 2017, even with the bigger information, litecoin's movements are still too weak, more precisely, the demand for people with the old altcoins is not high, this trend is abandoning the old altcoins, focus on altcoins in the new era. This sleep is probably a long sleep, litecoin can wake up but it will definitely sleep again, even if it's an eternal sleep, therefore, without too much hope, a little bit of support is possible |

Litecoin is currently in position 5 Coinmarketcap, and the price of litecoin is now $ 67. This means that Litecoin is still far below Ethereum which is now in position 2 at a price of $ 177. Then when will this Coin wake up and beat other coins, I think it will still take longer for Litecoin to realize all of that.

Surprising to hear this from you. I tend to disagree. The catch is as of now, right or wrong, Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV seem to be the real 'silver to Bitcoin Gold' that folks talked about in the past. You can see that by value. It is unfortunate but seems to be the case, especially if you see Bitcoin SV's inflated value. Way to inflated value, IMHO. So what is a person to think? I do think that IF Litecoin actually does, as they say, have some stuff they are gonna dump on Github and just have not done so yet for code, and IF they do get Mimblewimble out in an acceptable time frame. Not just drag it out with promises on either of the above. Then perhaps, Litecoin can finally break $100 or $200 and again act as an alternative to Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV. The price however unfortunate seems to reflect this frigging dubious reality. I don't really get it either. But with, at the time of this writing, Litecoin at $67.21 and Bitcoin Cash at $295.16 and I mean 'really'? Bitcoin SV at $132.07. Well, reality sucks at the present time. I will give you your view, IF at least, Litecoin can consistently beat Bitcoin SV's price. Until that happens I too am befuddled at the Litecoin price with the above coins, but it is what it is. I am only here for prosperity, as I was in June of 2016. Where immediately someone replied with the old "LTC bagholders always amuse me. Remind me again why do we need LTC?".

seems the OP has UP this thread again...  personally I really like Litecoin. Litecoin is Altcoin which continues to be in the top 10, the highest price of Litecoin is still at $ 400+ (December 2017). I'm very optimistic the price of Litecoin in the next 5 to 10 years will be 10x even more than the current price... BCH and BSV may still be better than Litecoin, but Litcoin still in the sleeping giant's category. |

litecoin really is a good coin , meaning it has a lot of potential though we cant feel it now because the coin could be sleeping but we should have feel it later or sooner , in which case we can can consider litecoin a real sleeping giant .
Litecoin is one of those funny coins in the sense that it never started out as a giant and never pretended to be a giant. Always happy to call itself the silver cousin of Bitcoin yet it was always the first to do new things like Segwit and Lightning Network. Giant in reputation but never in price. But still a great coin to hold for sure. $300 is coming again. |

I strongly agree with this idea because litecoin looks really great technically. Because there is a decreasing wedge formation on the weekly and daily charts and positive for almost all indicators litecoin. I think halving pricing will also begin soon. This is not an financial advice |

Haha i completely agree with you. Like why do we need another bitcoin? Litecoin lovers will probably mention this and that feature but ultimately, it really doesn't offer anything new and is inferior in terms or real world use and adoption. It's a great coin because it's based on the greatest cryptocurrency ever and that is Bitcoin. |

It looks like your prediction about this coin is true Litecoin is now ranked above CMC with a very large daily turnover.
if you buy a coin that year, you have already got a very large profit.
but market conditions are currently weak, it might take time for the next bull, if it happens maybe LTC can reach a new ATH

I don't care about Litecoin anymore, and only have owned it as a means to transfer from fiat on ramp to my trading exchange during BTC and ETH network congestion. in my opinion Litecoin is pretty boring in terms of development. It's value is mostly from a large network of miners and adoption by exchanges and merchants providing easy liquidity for traders or HODLers. Charlie knew all along about the direction of LTC, hence selling all his stake at the top. He didn't even announce it when he dumped, he later admitted that he sold at several points on the way up to all time high. it was the beginning of the end for LTC. after chat leaked about lack of development and no transparency, there is no bright future for this currency. If you have a lot of money there, get out as soon as possible.
