when I complete my limit I stop playing any more. that is how I know to stop
Exactly ,making limitations on winning and losing is the proper mindset to have an end or to know when to stop ,because if we don't have that mindset we have no barrier on our mind to tell whether to stop now or continue playing especially on continuosly losing profits.

Yes I set a weekly limit on how much I am willing to bet. I know I can never lose more that that because I stick to that rule. And some weeks I get lucky and make a little money.

Having a limit is the best way to regulate your spending. I for example always stay put to the amount I deposit when I gamble.
So if I deposit .1 btc I will not deposit more.

I agree, especially when you are playing with bitcoin you can easily restrict yourself by cutting the source of funds that you have access to. and put a limit for yourself.

for example what you can do is that you can put your funds (bitcoins) in cold storage, something like paper wallet is best so that you don't have access to it or it is at least much harder to spend from cold storage. this way you will be automatically restricted to reduce the amount you gamble with.

Thats good. If you know that how much you can afford to lose then its easy to take the decision to make exit from the game. So its always better to set the limit for yourself before playing.

When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

Me for my experience and for my self point of view.

0.01 btc a week is a good amount to be set, if you re actually just playing for your own entertainment, in a way of playing gambling games.

I do not surpass that amount that I had set for myself so that in the end I do not have any regrets why I lose a big amount., and for me that amount is what I ca afford to lose every week.

I always stop if i reach my quota if i profit 200-300% of my funds, cause they are one reason win or lost.So if you profit enough you must stop or lost all of your funds in just a single bet.they are several ways to stop.use a second account if you profit enough you must send your winnings at you second account to simply save it in losing

that is the right decision. if some won want to know when to stop. he should keep a limit for himself.

Stop when you feel its enough, no matter if you winning or losing.
When you made double of your amount, you can play to make more, and more but there is a moment when you will lose everything you have. So stop when you think you won enough.
Same with losing, stop when you think you lost enough for one day, don't push it cause in that case you can lose all.

I play on my feeling, that means I don't have some specific strategy. My game depends from many things, and that is really hard to explain.

Yeah,

By knowing when to stop when you actually win a gambling games does contributes a lot  in reducing further future losses.
If someone is greedy that if he wins and bet that  amount again in thinking that it can be doubled again does lose most of the time, so knowing when to stop, and putting limitations to your self is a great strategy in gambling, whether you lose or you win.

when in a winning situation it is difficult to stop, because I have always had a high greedy. but if I'm in the beginning to have a target that usually know when I should stop.

If I lose 3 buy-ins in poker in a relatively short span of time, I will take a break or look for a new table/game. But it also depends, if I'm not feeling tilted and I think I can profit from any particular player(s) on that table, I'll stay and keep playing. If I lose 5 buy-ins or so, I will take an extended break to avoid playing tilted for a few hours or more or even call it a day and do something else and then hit the tables again the next day.

If I win 3 or 5 or more buy-ins at any particular table and the dynamics remain juicy, I'll just keep playing. If I feel like I'm getting winner's tilt, then I will either adjust my game or simply end my session. One thng I'll never be accused of being though, is being a hit and run bitch.  Cheesy

Someone should think of a limit before he starts gambling to make himself safe from losing all he has, he should set a target that if he crosses the target in losing so he would stop betting for that day, and if he is winning he will keep betting until he loses what he had decided in his mind.

I think that after gambling for some time you somehow become "skilled" at knowing when to stop. You develop a feel about it like a 6th sense that tells you: "stop now you idiot". I dont want to call it skill tho, but it's something strange. It doesn't mean you will win more, just lose less.

It's kind of hard to do if you don't have discipline in yourself. You should stop when you're earning some profit and starting losing and you should also stop when you're losing a lot. It's not a skill, it's not something strange. It's called "common sense." Smiley

True, I never felt anything like that, but I can't keep what I'm feeling. Because sometimes when I do gambling, my mind was already penetrated by greed. So it is less influential

If i have already reached my limitation or i have lost so much of my money it is enough for me to stop because i don't want to lose more , I should take a break from gamling , relax my mind and also I do not getting myself to being stressed because of that lost Grin
