If the price crashes, I'd probably sell my bitcoins as soon as possible so I don't lose a lot of money.

Then you will be at a mistake as that crash will not be a permanent crash but will be a short period dump, at that situation you will have to wait a little and very sooner the price of bitcoin will come back to its high value.

Well, if I see the bitcoin price rising again, I'd probably buy some bitcoin back.

If it's happen to bitcoin I will not be worried for that,we already know that the bitcoin price is volatile who's selling it immediately will get some profit then buy again if you think that the will not going low more.

it is a good and safe way of trading but i don't think you can earn much profit this way, mainly because you will end up missing out on buying or selling all the time if don't watch the market 24/7 so instead i think it is better to make up your mind and decide if the price will go up or down, then buy or sell respectively. that way you will never miss any chances.

Start to buy bitcoin with huge amount, and just wait for the good price to sell. Everyone is hoping for this condition. But i think halving is doesn't change anything.

Well in this case we need to exchange it to Fiat immediately before the crash will continue and it's hard for you to recover back if you dont want to be the one who lost for not selling, I actually exchange the half of my bitcoin to Fiat.

Halving took place three months ago and nothing happened (wait, that 20% fall was due to exchange hack). Now, I think halving will still affect the price of bitcoin for short term (until mid to end of next year 2017) in the form of price fluctuations. We would see high prices and lower prices too but not with sharp points on price charts. I am expecting sustainable growth after 2017 in the price as well as user base.

yes that is good idea to hold bitcon for rising again. but iam hopeful that the price of bicoin will never fell down any more because the price of bitcoin is already trading in a very very low level and it cannot come down any more.

That's wishful thinking and makes you look like someone that doesn't know what he is talking about. The price can always go lower. We have seen this happen so many times already, and still certain people (where you are one of) think that it isn't possible to fall down lower.

The current price of bitcoin might not go down as you might expect as it is showing good support level at these values. If your dream has to be fulfilled yet another news about a hack must be going the rounds to pull the price down. Other than that it is a good price to buy for now.

Actually I have never thought about that..I am in the hope that the price will definitely increase after the halving..You should have noticed the recent pump..It shows that the halving rally might have already started..I dont think it will crash at this stage.I also think that it is only you who is thinking about the crash. you are thinking is from the investor point of view but you cannot see the traders point of view, when they have bought in low then obviously they will try to cash out profit so that time we can see some selling pressure. My view is after halving their will be correction but not crash in price of bitcoin as everyone is waiting to sell their coin on high price after halving when everyone will come out to sell then who are going to buy that selling rate, this no one notices it, This is what OP is trying to tell. I have set point of selling my bitcoins from $800+ price slowly slowly so if their is crash i can buy back in low and would have taken profit. It is possible that the price of the bitcoin will drop allot after the bitcoin halving but i dont think he will drop allot because the amount of users also grow allot and when that is growing the price will also stay stable so i dont think the halving will cause allot to the price of the bitcoin but we dont know for sure off course so we will see what it will bring.

The price of the bitcoin wont change anything after the halving and that is because there are so many people using the coin it will only affect thre people who are mining for the coin as you know there is a limit of coins and when the half of them is reached searching for them is much difficult

There was little time of dump of bitcoins but that was because of Bitfinex hack and halving has nothing to do with the 20% decline in price at that time.

Proven how ? Not being pessimistic about it, but I do remember seeing the price going down a bit just before the hack happened, which was something I believed to be weak hands giving up the bitcoins they have , which they saved for a price rise during halving.
