Unfortunately there is a permanent risk in deciding the right time to sell, because I have no doubt that sooner or later this important rally will end and we will observe a market correction.

But meanwhile, I think it is better to avoid hasty decisions during these volatile days, and wait for some stabilization in the bitcoin price before deciding to sell. Keeping your coins is the best decision now.

I spent some a coupla weeks ago. Do I regret it? Well, I could've gotten more stuff with it but I'm happy enough. I think there's gonna be threads like this for as long as crypto exists.

If some store accepts BTC, I often instantly just re-buy the required amount on an exchange. That way I don't lose any BTC, yet I still supported the BTC ecosystem.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

and now I regret it.  Angry

Anyone else in the same boat?

Dude, that's like at least $35k profit you've missed out on if you just held that bitcoin for another month or so... That's way better than bank interest, don't you agree with me? Tongue

I have the same feeling right now though, for not buying as much as I should when the price was still cheap.

Thats too much. Where do you get that 100 btc, and what is the reason why you sold all that much, are you afraid that btc will fall. Much better if you sell the only half of it. Well that is so regretable you miss this opportunity to make more profit. But its not too late dude btc prise will rise its highest value this halvening so better move.

damn, that must have really sucked to have missed out on so much profit that you should have made. However I think it is really your fault for not listening to a lot of people telling you about the current bullishness Smiley

But you still have a chance to get back in. Good luck.

It could happen to anyone.  You cant regret your decision if it was at the time the right decision for you.  Nobody knows where the price will go one day to the next,  those who say they know have their own agenda.

Sigh!  Lips sealed
Have nothing to say, as words can't be used for such decision. But I can say that circumstances make people choose what is wrong and what is right, and if you needed that money during that time, your decision is considered wise.  Wink

No one knows what would be the price on that time, so it still fine atleast you profit with it. It is better  than gambling it.

Well no one can predict right price of bitcoin. But still you sold it thinking that you might loose up a nice profit if bitcoin loses its run so it is normal but still some do regret if they lose a nice chance of profit.

Talking about me am also in same boat i sold my 0.5 Btc for a price when it was touching $395-415 sometime around 2-3 months ago. Too bad  Undecided

100 BTC is so much to hold so i know why you could have made that decision because price was so volatile and you may have thought price can be dumped hard after quick huge pump. But story going different in current price pump still annoying and confused on actual reason for this.

Seriously? why would you sell such amount if you do know that there is halving fever that resulted into price increase. If this was true you lost a lot of money.

The thing is that probably he sold on 500 because he got more cheap BTC but he  re-bought later to 700-750 but now he got less BTC.

A lot of the answers here are biased and vacuous. Bitcoin didn't have nowhere to go but up - it had already doubled since last year and the fundamentals that pushed it to $150 were still essentially in place.

It's hard to pick the perfect spot to get out. As long as you made a calculated decision using your head instead of your heart, you shouldn't regret it.

There's must be a reason behind. I think the profit he make is depend on what time he bought it. If he bought at those bitcoin with around $100 value then it still worth it because he's profit is still tripled than the time he buy those coins.

sold around the 100 btc few months ago that is not a quiet big deal because you have allot of time to get bitcoins back for the official price rising you need to hurry.

That means that you must have made allot of money if you sold that many coins a few months ago but I am sure that you regret it now. The price is now allot higher then it was a few months ago so maybe if you have some coins you can still sell.
