if you trading bitcoin/usd much site marketplace exchange reputable
you can use coinbase, kraken, huobi,okcoin, btce,bitfinex
but you can trade bitcoin/altcoin you can use poloniex

I use poloniex when trading btc/altcoin and it works fine for me.Never tried other trading platform though...

I would highly recommend Coinbase for starters. It is very easy to use and very simple. It has step by step instructions on how to connect your bank account and even a credit card if you want.
There are lot of criteria we need to check before choosing a right trading platform. Better study on this up to in-depth and decide yourself.

As for me, the most stable and reliable is Poloniex. Anyway, there are a lot of varriants here. Try them all and then choose the best one for you.

Many choices of trading platform is easy to use and reliable i do trade in ccex, polo and also in yobit. Ccex and polo is the best trading platform for me because it easy to used in cellphone. So thats why i get profit everyday in ccex for a short trade. And ccex have a many coins now so you can choose what coins do you like to trade.

for me, i use poloniex. there are many altcoins with good volume. what i like from poloniex is many altcoins that will got pump and high jump in suddenly. if you don't believe, just see the rate of the altcoins, and see some of altcoins that not famous, become to jump in high rate and its make a good profit.

And you must add another markets are like bitcoin.co.id, bitx.co, quoine.com, triv.co.id and another exchangers who accept IDR (Indonesian currency) without them, although you got much profit, you can not make withdrawal.
