If a big company decides to keep their profit in Bitcoins it would look like that I guess. They also spend a lot too as we can see from the balances.

That is one very busy address. Gotta be a miner or belonging to an exchange to have that type of volume.
And it's had over 3 million coins runs through it? Didn't they get the memo about it being better to use fresh addresses each time?

They can use one address in main chain but every transaction they make is pointed to a different address and comes to the main one After receiving it.

The owner of that account must be a miner and I think he saves BTC to the large scale he can. Look at the final balance it is the evidence that everyday he/she was using that account to pay and such.

all the speculation about the owner of the bitcoin address that other have done apart, this amount is not unusual. there are already many businesses and services like exchanges, mining pools, wallets like xapo that have all the money in their back up,... that have so much more than this amounts. instead of wishing you could hack them try and learn some skills and run your business so that you can handle the same amount too.

No surprise here. I have a friend who had millions of bitcoins in his wallet because he bought so much back then. He told me he was using it for doing transactions in the dark market. He used to be a black hat before but now he's a white hat and he's had quite a lot of profits from those bitcoins. QUITE A LOT.
I saw a picture of his mining setup and I count 25miners more or less, and a lot of ice blocks.

thats indeed such huge amount of money, now that wallet has around 7,4k btc or around 5,380,177.4 USD (with the price of btc now). im sure no one can hack it because the owner will very very be careful to protect that amount.

That's pretty big for just one person. Wish I could have just the loose change of those BTC. The owner must have bought a lot when the price was relatively low and has been holding it for quite some time now. I am just curious at what his exact entry price was.
