And when we'll pump like hell what will you say buddy?  HODL is the best way in crypto and more when it's one of the biggest coin you're holding. It depends on what's your feeling but by my side, i always won x3/4 more by holding the coins than playing the waves. |

Been hearing this talk in the past couple of months.... maybe you will pump at some point (you won't unless they fix their shit PR strategy)... but why would I wait on the sidelines instead of riding the short-term waves. HODL is not the best way if you know what you are doing. I am already x5 on TRON and now I will sell and reinvest in coins that I really believe in and that are not pure hype/greed driven. Stratis is an okay coin that is certainly undervalued and has some potential but is far from being one of the 'biggest'. |

"Doge" I guess is a popular meme in popular culture, and the dumbed-down sheep get obsessed with that kind of stuff. So of course when the news published the article saying DOGE was worth 1 billion (hint: sideways effort to delegitimize the entire crypto industry), of course it got pumped up. And on top of that, the pump and dump that will ensue will reinforce in uninformed people's minds that crypto is a scam. |

You guys shouldnt get your panties in a knott. It is silky to put all your money into a single coins. So the guys that complain they are locked in broke that rule. In anyways there are ways to trade yourself out of a locked situation.
It is always good to diversify so that you can have your coins you hodl and your coins you ride the hype on. If you are just in it for the short term hype then Stratis is not for you. Stratis is a gem that you just hodl long term.

I feel the same way Vinnieboy. Hodl for long term is horseshit when you could sell your stratis make some profits and buy back a lot more Stratis later. I think it's really tempting right now, just scared I will miss the moonparty, so I hodl, because I think the product could be great! But some more updates and info on the progress from the team would be great and will help to keep me confident of my choice for stratis. I now mostly can only find some amature updates of Killone. (No offence and thanks by the way;)) But some real and regular updates from the team would be most welcome instead of some slack sentences of the CEO.
I agree as well.. should have ride the wave of the coins that were hyped but instead I locked myself in a coin that receives zero attention from the community... I am planning to sell half of my holdings... When I first entered this market I thought that it is all about good tech and fundamentals but now I understand that it is all about hype and speculation. you can just add the term 'China' to your coin and it will instantly moon. 99% of the investors know jack shit about the technology. I had your same experience, thought that fundamentals would play a major role in crypto markets, but had then to realize that most of the trade is done on the basis of hype and speculation. That's of course disappointing, but then, once you realize that, you divide your actions in long term investments and short term speculations, so you can have some rapid satisfactions with speculations without missing out the mooning of the real cool projects once they finally end up getting community attention. |

The problem is that all the market is hyped, and most of the coins have a fake value which will drop very soon.
Noobs are entering the crypto world and buying everything below 1$, but this strategy isn't going to last for too long.
For example, Monero which has huge role to the crypto world, and maybe it's the most important coin after bitcoin and ethereum... it's ranked at #12 position.
I think that in the end, the coins which will solve problems and have strong fundamentals WILL WIN! These coins represent the 1% of all the crypto platforms.
And IMO, Stratis is one of them.
I think the best strategy is to HODL, no matter what happens, coins like TRON or Ripple won't last for too long, mark my words.

This/that project may seem great for a while, untill another better equipped competitor arrives.
I have a feeling that stratis is "weakened"/outperformed by other, better PRed projects..
