Yeah. It seems like Stratis is taking a new step here. I plan to buy some after new year and hold them for later.

BTC is pumping for a while now, Stratis didn't get dumped so far, so why should it now . One can hope offcourse.

What is going on with the staking?
I normally get about 2 a 3 stratis is aday, but now i'm getting about 30 a day (27-12-2016).

Check the block explorer, I guess you are on the wrong chain, when I switch VPN sometimes I could go into the wrong chain, only me is staking

How can I check this?
Wallet is v2.0.0.1

Is did also add the nodes from this version to my conf file.

You can try to input your address in the block explorer search bar, and check your address mined the same blocks in the standard blockchain or not. If you think it is difficult, you can post your address and I will check for you, if you don't mind to share your address.

It seems i am on the wrong chain, I have more stratis then shows up in my wallet.

But how can I change to the right chain?

Close your wallet, and open it again, your wallet will redownload the correct blockchain. Generally pure pos scheme has this problem, other coins like blk, sdc are the same, if you keep minting new coin, you should realize you are in the wrong blockchain.

When I go to help-> debug in the wallet it says it is now at block 184530. The chain explorer shows current block is much higher.

It was indeed well thought out, specially the "one-time use" token to increase the chances you follow the link, lest you lose your "one-time" access... On top of that, the scammers benefited from a good set of favorable circumstances that could cloud people's mind and make them bypass their usual checks:the recent acceleration in the ongoing BTC pump(close to the holidays to boot), which would drive people to want to accrue more BTC quickly(and probably prompted the scammers to act now), the fact that Poloniex listed the coin recently, the fact that they could copy STRATIS' website so well and register TWO instances of their copy as a .net website that looks legit(hell, even the emails sent to the addresses on the site don't come back as undelivered... They just, obviously, don't answer. All in all, very elaborate scam), the proximity to the holidays coupled to the 29th deadline, knowing that Support, specially on Poloniex, would be slow around Christmas, etc... Looks like the only people who were lucky in 2016 were the ones with dubious intentions... This looks to have been months in the making, specially given how well they were able to duplicate the real website. Maybe the jumpstart offer was real at some point, probably why they selected STRATIS out of all the coins to use as a scam bait, coupled with the recent listing on Poloniex. All I can do now is make my pain the community's gain. Prior to my post, googling "Stratis jumpstart" netted no relevant result. Now, my post warning about the scam is the 1st hit. I have been the Guinea pig(a lot of it my own fault, their mind-clouding methods worked a treat on me), but now, the community has been warned.  The Poloniex guys have replied to me too, and told me they would do some warning of their own. I hope that, during the 4 days between me being scammed out of my money on the Internet for the 1st time ever, and my posting, not too many others got their money stolen.  It is a good lesson in crypto:unlike traditional scam attempts, where it is a lot more difficult to impersonate a company, and there are lots of clues along the way making it obvious it is a scam(hence my unblemished record prior to that), a coin project is an easier target, and with the anonymous and immediate nature of crypto... Lesson learned. Be 600% vigilant. Always talk to the guys behind a project and do some thorough research prior to any kind of investment. Do not care about any kind of deadline.

Really impressed with the support and belief community puts in the coin. Will be difficult to take Stratis down to 6k
