can I buy stratis on bittrex exchange? I have all my btc there! Is it safe to withdraw?
Sure you can. Yes it's safer to keep STRAT in your wallet, preferably ledger nano S, than leaving them on any exchange. Yeah, if you have any significant amount of STRAT, please don't leave that on exchanges. Transfer to your personal wallets. Also, if you have a bunch, you can get PoS rewards which exchanges don't give you. |

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

If you have less than that lets say <10k then just park them in an offline wallet. The best is Ledger Nano S but there are a few other wallets allready available to you eg. tradtitional qt wallet (c++), new full node wallet (c#), Breeze wallet. All of them will be better than an exchange wallet as you own the private key. Just remember to make a backup of your wallet file. |

Am I right in thinking Stratis dev team have come up with a solution that allows sidechains that don't rely on the main net for their security? Or have I just completely made that up?

You have to consider more than only Stratis. Bitcoin is the real one for now. You also have consensus meeting soon and of course the Stratis's roadmap  |

Although the article is very interesting and everyone should give few minutes to read it well. Specially that part of SEC is very interesting and you explain it right way that every project should take decision by itself instead of being forced in future. That part about events of April and other information all made the write up very useful. Stratis has great future as important player.

Maybe not as much as many hope as it is still just a conference, but it is said that there is a lot of big money investors who might inject part of their funds into the space after getting a little bit more educated through such a conference. |
