In a bear market it doesn't really matter what great news any project announces, it does nothing meaningful for the price and if anything creates a knee jerk sell off because certain investors become salty and throw the towel in. Its happening right across the board and is a healthy cleansing. Unless a coin is adopted by PayPal or amazon or the government at the moment no news or development will make any coin go up in price. This is the nature of a bear market. Once a bull market happens it will happen organically and once 2017 is distant memory. All coins will become priced relative to one another and hot money will flow through the entire space again. In the next bull run the indicator of the top for me will be people paying obscene amounts of money for digital land. With it being all over mainstream news about million dollar virtual property sales and the next get rich quick property boom. People do insane things with easy money and become very tight fisted when they are scared.

Is there a way to import an old wallet from Stratis qt to the new Stratis Core wallet? Or do I necessarily need to send my STRAT from the qt to core wallet?

Is it already possible to do cold staking on a raspberry pi. Are there instructions where to retrieve and how to compile the wallet? I can only find tutorials for the 'old' stratis wallet.

As things stand, you have to send the Strat in a transaction. Guide is here:

cold staking is yet to be activated...when 95% of stakers move to the new wallet cold staking will be activated and then you will be able to cold stake using a raspberry...you can stake on raspberry now, its just that your wallet needs to be open till cold staking gets activated.

I already thought that but I haven't checked the wallet guide, thanks a lot for the reply.

Well, btc price is growing now. But I don't think that market trend was change. Unfortunately I think we will see another btc price reduction to new lows.

Gj boys. 3 years worked on full node and all you got(which was nothing technically) was a paid press article on cointelegraph.

Such buzzzz round Stratis!!!

enjoy your never ending downtrend. Move on, much better cryptos around.

Is there a bootstrap for the new Core wallet?

Why would you need a bootstrap? Smiley The full node wallet syncs very fast. I think I have synced mine in about 1 hour or so. With this occasion I want to congratulate the stratis developers for this state of the art wallet they have created after loads and loads of hard work.

My internet & hardware are both old and slow, I ran Core wallet for 24 hours and only got to 80k blocks ... will take ages to sync at this speed for me.

Hi,
Is Electrum Stratis wallet safe to use?
https://github.com/stratisproject/electrum-stratis/releases
Why there is no link to this wallet in "Wallets" page on the official site?

Hello, you should check out the C# Full Node GitHub: https://github.com/stratisproject/StratisBitcoinFullNode

I'd be interested to know what you are basing the "nothing technically" on, and I'd be more than happy to go over your reasons with you.

If you're not technically inclined and don't want to slog through the Git, this article might help to throw some light on what the C# Full Node is: https://medium.com/khilone/not-just-a-node-stratis-c-full-node-is-live-and-it-was-worth-the-wait-95dcbddd0dc5

If you want, you can also join the Discord and speak directly with the devs about the C# FN, https://discord.gg/9tDyfZs

It is still safe to use, however it has been removed from the website in lieu of the production release of the more recent wallets, Stratis Core and Breeze.

There are lots of wallet you can hold STRAT in: Electrum, Stratis Core, Breeze, Ledger, Coinomi, QT and so on, but only Stratis Core and Breeze are listed on the website since they are the wallets that form a part of the Stratis Platform itself (Stratis Core is the C# Full Node GUI + Sidechains UI and Breeze is the Privacy Protocol UI).

Im talking about the interest behind stratis which doesnt exist.

You guys released the full node, something you worked on for 2+ years.

After all that "hard work" the only PR stratis got from a big news source was cointelegraph and it was a PAID ad. Then you have some random no name crypto outlets that wrote about it, probably each with less than 100 views.

If you guys were building something actually cool, you'd see the interest all over the crypto community.

Thats the sad part, nobody is talking about stratis and nobody really cares anymore.

I dont care, i've moved on to better investments, im just here to remind people that stratis is a bad investment. Stratis will be the worst performer of 2019, if it does anything at all.

You do realise that even ethereum went up to 20 dollars and then back to 5 dont you. Then it hit 1400 a couple years later. There were people saying it was dead and finished then too. Litecoin also went to 48 dollars and then crashed all the way back to 1.5 dollars. 3 years later its at 350 dollars. It takes time to wash investors out of there bags so it can go higher in the next cycle. Even lisk hit 30 dollars last year. Come on now we all know this is speculation but it will be re-priced accordingly in the next bull run.

Isn't $STRAT a beauty..

Together with all the #Development that's been made in 2018's bear market, $STRAT is a winner for anyone that sees the blue light at the end of the tunnel.

More releases to come this year and 2019 is going to be epic!
