I am really looking forward and at the same time excited about all the companies that Stratis will integrate in the blockchain world this year. We already have around 5-6 of them organising their ICOs on this amazing tech and I'm sure plenty more are standing in the queue.

I'm looking to create a sidechain on Stratis as well, maybe a USD pegged stable coin or a gold/silver backed one? Smart contracts can definitely make the process decentralized so no need for banks or third parties involved. Still I haven't decided but somewhen in spring or summer I will surely be working on a project.

The sidechain itself couldn't give you a stable coin since the rate of exchange between Strat <-> sidechain coin is fixed. However, as you say, it would be possible to do this with a smart contract on top of a sidechain. There are a few models you can look at to give you some idea of currently working solutions, i.e. Dai from MakerDAO.

My one piece of advice would be to see how you would feel about using an existing sidechain, such as Cirrus (federation members are currently Stratis Group Ltd, so if that puts you off, then we can work towards getting a sidechain with a federation run by broader community members), simply because using a sidechain shared by a number of token contracts will offer easy access to the network effect: you can piggyback off the success of other tokens etc.

Crypto-collateralised stable coins are the way to go, IMHO. It would be valuable for Stratis to have one.

Last year wasn't successful for startup on blockchain but this year we will see mass adoption and ICOs will be back into same streak like 2017. I also think Stratis can take advantage of this streak and it will become more successful in coming days.

yeah i hope to see more icos on stratis and other platforms rather than sticking with just on eth which is not efficient anymore.

Stratis is probably a giant in hypernation mod at the moment.
Some day, Stratis giant will wake up. 

I am with Stratis and Chris from the beginning and I am convinced that very soon we will see STRATIS return to involve the attention and hype of many investors; a Coin like STRATIS can not remain so low in the market and when there will be the new upward race then we will see all the potential and progress of the team reflected in the price.

I have a feeling that Stratis will blow up soon. The liquidity in the market is very thin and once the usecases are set in place and/or some medium to high investors place their foot in the orderbook we should see an astonishing parabollic move which we have seen before on STRAT.
