Ok - so I can't find my NXT passphrase anywhere, but I know I have it written down somewhere.  I'm running an outdated version of the wallet...so what would be the process in which I recover the ARDR that I've received?

You would need a version older than the August version. You need the passphrase. I'm in a similar situation, I have some NXT that are in a wallet that my password doesn't work on.

You don't need an older version. In fact, you can't use any version older than 1.10.1 any more. Use only 1.10.1 or higher, to recover Ardor you need the passphrase.

Oops, I couldn't remember the version number, and so I meant to say a version that's not older than the August version.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I sent ARDR to my Bittrex wallet (from my NXT wallet) and ive never received it after more than 1000 confirmations... Anyone know whats the problem ?

Bittrex requests need to specify the address of the wallet and Message. If this is ignored then the withdrawal is not received. Contact Bittrex Support.

I think my mistake was the message part :\ Any chance i get back my ARDR or its lost cause of this?

I don't see a way to attach a message using the myNXT wallet, though. Can anybody educate me on that? Do i need this pro-trading thing or something?

There's a checkbox, and then you also have to make sure you uncheck encrypted message so that the message is not sent encrypted.

Hm, I think you are talking about the main "send NXT" window, but I can't send Ardor that way, can I? What I was doing was installing the lite asset plugin, then clicking on "assets", clicking on ARDR, then on "transfer". In that window, all I can do is enter quantity and NXT address, there is no checkbox.

But thanks anyway.

I'm talking about the NXT wallet. You go to the ARDOR asset, click on transfer. Check send message, uncheck encrypt message, etc.

You're going to dump? I just need to sell enough to pay a couple bills, and then hold.

Maybe I just don't find the right window. Tried another browser, still the same result. Here is what i did:
On the left side, under "plugins" is a field saying "NXT Assets Basic". Clicked on it. Then clicked on "my assets". Clicked on "Ardor", window pops up, click on "Transfer". In that window, I can't enter a message and there are just no buttons to click, except for "transfer". If I click that, it asks me for my Master Password (only option there) and to send.
My guess is that I need the "NXT Assets (pro)" plugin to send a message?

Or I'm in the wrong window after all.

About dumping: Not sure yet. Tried setting up a wallet on my computer, but somehow didn't manage to install Java 8, yet. Linux and all that…

And I wouldn't call it "dump", I'd call it "trade" Wink would be probably back in Ardor at some point.

I just can't believe that people are dumping NXT like this. Like, people who obviously bought NXT at like 4500 sats and had to hold til the end of the distribution to get their Ardor are dumping their NXT at 1500. They're taking a 67% loss on their investment. I mean, what does that tell you about the state of things for NXT? Still haven't dumped because I'm hoping I get my money back but every hour it seems less likely.

The price of NXT before ardor announced was 1-2k for many months, if i remember correctly, people thought nxt was dead. So it is still high price right now, nxt+ardr now is almost 4k.

Reposting again for whose having problems with Mynxt.info wallet. Please also note, that Supernet lite client can be installed even on usb stick and it don't need to download a blockchain.

Mynxt.info has some problems with displaying ardr assets for people. It will be fixed soon. To chack balance of the ardor asset in your account, please go to www.nxtportal.org, search for your account id and check the ardr balance. Don't worry, all accounts and balances are on Nxt blockchain.

Please also try official NRS client from https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-10-3/ (it will download complete blockchain in the background, while you can fully control your account during it) or Supernet Lite client from www.supernet.org (it don't need blockchain download).

How to retrieve passphrase of your account at mynxt.info:
1 clear cookies (All. Or better selectively: browser settings ... search for "cookies" ... all cookies and site data ... mynxt ... delete)
2 log into mynxt.info
3 dashboard ... settings ... security
4 "download wallet backup"
5 WalletViewer https://github.com/mynxt-info/WalletViewer/releases --> v1.4 for windows
6 use "master pw" as passphrase to decrypt the 'wallet.json.aes' file.
7 copy password (68 chars 400 bits in my case), paste/import into downloaded client
Done.  Hope that helps.

H guys, I have a question i cannot find any answer around.

How many coins in total will exist ever for Ardor?

Thanks

998,999,495 exactly.

Some probably on addresses with lost priv.keys and stuff, though, so an unknown number is pretty much burned.

Quite a lot to sustain this price actually...Thanks for your reply..

I am really upset with POLO!  No announcement from day one about if they will add ARDR or not.  What a bunch of fucking pricks!  I hate trading there but I do think it has proven to be the best market for crypto.

I suspect that they are not going to be very supportive of any coin that has a decentralized market.  Also I suspect that they are involved in the POT and HZ pumps so they have to dump those first before adding a new coin.  I have always suspected of insider trading but of course there is no proof, just the way they have trained their Mods (like guard dogs) to response to certain questions.

Edit: and the lack of transparency in the loans section; it is almost impossible to know the number of short coins.  But they do so it benefits anyone with insider knowledge!

For sure they are in the business of making money and will do whatever is necessary to get richer with without respect to their users!  And since this is crypto lawless space they can do whatever the fuck they want!  Angry Angry Angry

Can someone update me with the total supply of Ardor currently available on market?

Most likely its because the whole crypto market vs over 12,000 crypto currencies (known and unknown) thinning/stretching the market.

Its not like 2010-11 when you only had maybe 40 crypto currencies and the volume wasn't stretched.

Don't know, if they didn't list ARDR at the first time, maybe they will not list it, so we can move to bittrex trading there first. I don't see the strong reason will bring ARDR on polo now, maybe they wait for official launch of the coin.
