subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

No offense but someone can confirm that the wallet is safe to use? I scanned the wallet in VirusTotal and it gave no hits, which is a good sign. However, it is very easy to attach an undetectable trojan to any file using cheap CrypterFUD software. So you can run the wallet, but you should do so on a dedicated machine, or a virtual machine (look for some for free download), or a sandbox like Sandboxie (there's a free version out there). |
