I just got some good news from Chloe. They are planning to arrange to flash or upgrade the MCU's. They are looking for someone who can flash the units in the US or replace the MCU's. I will reach out to @lightfoot to see if he is interested. Inno plans to pay for this repair.
Did she give you a timeframe for this?

No, she was just asking for the contact info for Lightfoot as I had recommended they reach out to him as a possible contact who might be able to help. It sounds like they are currently looking to get this setup to do the repairs, but she did not indicate the time frame.

I pulled the trigger and wired them some money on Friday for a unit. very excited to get it and get it hashing.
If this one proves to be working well, I may start a group buy to see if we can get 10 or so ordered for a reduced price and shipping.

I would be up for 2 units on a group buy.

I have heard they will accept bitcoin, but it costs a little bit more than doing a USD wire transfer. They didn't offer it to me(but I didn't really ask), but I could probably do bitcoin, then cash out through Coinbase, and pay them. Hopefully this unit runs with no problems and we can move forward.

I'm interested for possibly another unit, maybe 2 (asssuming they fix my B2 unit) but I'm going to wait and see what LTC price does with the ongoing diff spike. If LTC price doesn't recover/increase, the GB discount would have to be significant for me to consider it.

The BTC premium with Inno is STEEP! So be forewarned. I will wait until I see progress on my B2 units repairs. I am also watching the LTC diff and price. Right at this moment the cost per miner risk/reward ratio is getting hard to justify. I think we really need to see a price drop or a significant hash rate bump to continue to justify the current cost. At the current rate diff is climbing the earnings are falling like a rock at the moment.
So that being said, depending on what things look like I may be interested in one unit in a group buy. I guess we will have to see what it looks like when you start up the group buy.

Working fine on h2c, but getting around 250MHash on ProHashing. Nicehash goes from 200 to 250. And MRR around 240.

Are you running Batch 3? Any dropouts or restarts yet? What are you running for MV? Thanks

No, she was just asking for the contact info for Lightfoot as I had recommended they reach out to him as a possible contact who might be able to help. I suggested both Lightfoot and Gentarkin and will happily help anyone who needs someone to perform the reflash down-under. My jig arrived yesterday and there's some good news. First of all the reflash process is dead simple. Once you have removed the card from the chassis, it takes less than 60 seconds to flash the card and verify it's working correctly. The next peice of good news is that once you've done this, your B1 and B2 miners will be transformed into Batch 3 miners. The hardware is all the same according to Chloe, it's just the firmware and software that is different. To prove this, after the firmware upgrade I'm now running the Batch 3 2.0.2beta software. And finally the news you've all been waiting for. It fixes the restarts !! Here's a link to some photos of the jig and the process along with a screenshot of two of them mining away happily on ProHashing over 8 hours after I restarted them (see the time elapsed since first share submitted). https://www.flickr.com/photos/vinylwasp/sets/72157677783247635/Inno have kept their word and sorted this so I'm one happy+releived camper right now. I've had 6 weeks of sleepless nights but can now relax a bit. Just stay patient and I think Inno will make everything right for all B1 and B2 owners.

Can you enable notifications at prohashing when it comes below 240mh/s? And can you send a screenshot after 48 hours of the notifications?

This sounds great and doesn't look too complicated, thanks for the photos. Now how can we get these things stateside?

*nod* Looks pretty simple, they don't have to swap the chips (which is a pain) which is good. C

This is great news that the fix will turn the miners into a batch 3 so they will all be compatible with each other.. I will gladly pay you for your time to re-flash my 3 cubes if you get a jig.. I can remove the cards myself if it would make it more easy for you.. Thanks!

Inno should be covering the cost to get the miners reflashed. That is what Chloe indicated in her email. Hopefully Lightfoot will be hearing from Inno soon.

It might be helpful if someone were to compile a list of locations and number of units that need to be shipped to a central point (Lightfoot?), and back and provide that to Chloe. It's probably pointless getting shipping quotes as I'd assume Inno would use thier DHL discount to keep the costs low.

I'm hoping I can get mine sent straight to my ISP in Canada. I'm gonna email Chloe tonight that we've got a combined 12 units at a minimum so surely we can work that out.

Because of costs/downtime to ship the miners off... I would rather get my own jig so I can do it myself as its already going to require me to make a couple of trips to my facility to pickup the A4, take it offsite for the modifications and testing, then to return it again.
