That should be left to the willingness of the shop's owner. He can certainly start adopting bitcoin right now, if he wants. I like the idea of the honour based shops, although I suppose it would not work in some countries, unless a sort of control is in place.

haha I think it's an interesting idea to be applied in countries that have developed and are at risk of low crime. For countries that have a high potential for theft I think it can not. Thank you

Wow, it's amazing. but it's not suitable in my region because in here have a many people with Untrustworthy. it's only working in the place with trustworthy people. but it's not the good idea for now.

Maybe it can happen as long as there are no theft in your country, but if your country has so many theft robbers, it will hardly impossible to make possible. Trust is the key to make the store works

Maybe this is suitable for countries that know how not to be an asshole. I still hope it will happen soon if we reach the time were technology is all over our surrounding.

Yes, it could work with bitcoin payments. But the real problem is the trust with the possible buyers or thiefs that you could have in this shop. This could work in some idillyc countris, but not in mine.

Indeed it is very fun and make each deal much more quickly and efficiently. But this will not happen, in each shop does not want to use it. So we have to introduce it to any store and provide better information to each store, so our desire to make every transaction a better and could be implemented easily

It depends what what exactly we are discussing here. Are we are talking about 'trust based' shops? I don't think this idea is good to introduce everywhere. Some societies are just too narrow minded and are lacking certain traits to accept shops like these.
Bitcoin can be used as a payment method in every situation and don't find this particular instance any different.

Or maybe you just need to add a camera and the obligation to scan an ID when you enter the shop. They require their app to be installed in your mobile to be able to unlocked the shop. I think what they need is to have a secure verification of installing their app. Their app is like the keydoor on their shop.

This would never work in all places because let's face it. There will always be some people who'd abuse this generosity and try to hoarde all the stuff. In Denmark maybe, this would be a good idea since the crime rate there is dropping quite significantly every year. In US, it's not such a good idea at all.

Well the shop doesn't have any employee in it, doesn't mean They can't put CCTVs in it Make the user need to register their ID before using the app, that way If someone got caught hoarding the stuff the owner can report them to the authority Justice is served
