I've always wanted to make a gambling site, but what are the things I really have to keep in mind? I wanted to do something like a simple blockchain game, so people don't have to register etc.

Any thoughts?

Actually it's pretty simple, you just need to have a good amount of money and everything will follow.

It does not need to do all the task to run a gambling site as with enough capital, you can hire people to work for you and you can be a smart person to apply the principle of the rich people which is let the money work us.

Php, nginx, js , jquery are good to choose when making a gambling site.
What ever you do don't use an apache server if you plan on processing thousands of bets per second.
Nginx has much better support to control how many people load on each cpu and being able to distribute load.

Okay,

So start with earning or
accumulating capital for your gambling site.

After that one buy a domain,
Create a scripts or hire someone to do so.

To make everything prepared watch some
videos online.

1. Buy casino's script from 3rd party
2. Loan lots of money for casino bankroll
3. Ask trusted people to set everything for you

Hard way :
1. Learn programming (HTML, CSS, SASS, SQL, Ruby on Rails, etc.)

How are you going to buy a script when you need to take a loan ?
People you trust ? You should be doing that anyway. Also no one works for free forever so you will have to hire. How is having an idea the "hard way"
I think its more about being lazy and actually doing some work.

To creating an own site is not a big problem. You will get good developers in online or offline so contact them and give them your requirement they will create your site. And they only maintain your site. The only thing you want to do is an investment. It needs some decent amount to build own site, and one more thing promotion and offers you need to promote your site then only people get addict to your site.

-Too fully understand what are you trying to enter(gambling industry)
-Create your own unique game must be easy to understand ,use and much entertaining.

Creativity of the game is essential because you need to attract a lot of players to play your game. You also need to learn the gambling industry. Yes but if you have programming background then that would lessen your capital. I guess kids by know should be taught on how to program because i am sure that in the near future it would be the base element in the technology's innovation.
