I think there is a huge misunderstanding on the basic concepts of a blockchain here. This is not a bank where you call up and say "hey can you refund my money it didnt work" and that is the whole point of it. Those are things we have gotten use to due to the centralised aspect of our standard payment platforms. With blockchain comes personal responsibility, as it use to be, as it should be as cash is, though with the private key you can get your "cash" back.

Anyways, if it has not gone through i would check if their chain is up to date and whether you can send another small amount from the exchange to yourself. This article also explain that it is never "lost" it might be picked up by a later block if the previous was orphaned:

The reason I'm asking if it's concentrated we can use that to get this thing going right now 1 Tesla is 1/4000th of 1$ that is shameful.
