The problem is wallet stopped syncing no matter what. I restarted the wallet many times. I have 3 connections. I think if you have been running the new wallet and have been using it to stake before block 1,293,600 which is when the reported hard fork will be instigated, then there is a good chance you have forked . I suggest reloading the blockchain using the bootstrap and not staking with that wallet until the block 1,293,600. I am assuming that's what happened because that's what happened to me when I did that.

Gotta love TES. Back up running and staking. I did the bootstrap process twice and left it since my last post.

Hope soon we'll become official coin of Tesla motors. I would just about promise to crap my own pants if that happened. Getting Elon Musk and or the board of directors of Tesla Motors to adopt Teslacoin would be quite the miracle. Not saying it wouldn't be awesome, its just that I doubt they'd be even open enough to the idea to even let any one of us even breathe in their presence.

Before downloading the newest version of the wallet, I was at least a few hundred "blocks" short of the block explorer's declarations of where the chain was at yet I had about 20 connections. Seemed odd. I downloaded the new version of the wallet and it couldn't even download it from the network, it kept getting stuck (as usual, I really think this should get fixed, it just looks weird when the log file says it can't verify the hash for blocks and that's why it appears to be stopping, but the question is, what's wrong with those blocks that it won't accept them and I have to download the bootstrap?). Then I used a bootstrap and downloaded the rest no problem. Now my wallet says I'm on block "1290827" when the explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/# says we're at "1289441" and I have ~20 connections again. Supposedly there was one block today, but my wallet says there hasn't been one in two days. How was I missing hundreds if not thousands of blocks and now I suddenly have over a thousand extra blocks and I'm not syncing?! And why do I have to "repair" my wallet each time I get a new version of the wallet, seems odd. Oh, and the website doesn't specify the date for the new wallet (it just says something about downloading the newest wallet). I only realized I needed to download a new wallet after visiting the twitter page. I'm not, nor would I think others, would just decide "hey, let me download my wallet again just for kicks" if they were just looking at the webpage. A date would really put it into perspective just in case someone didn't see the tweets. Getinfo shows this: "errors" : "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers."

Hope soon we'll become official coin of Tesla motors. That would be amazing. What steps would it take to obtain that? We need to follow the roadmap to increase the commmunity and value of Teslacoin. Seems obvious they gonna start accepting Bitcoin but then if we have enought marketcap and a big community it's very posible we will be able to buy a Tesla with TES

Please follow this instructions If you keep having this problem, I suddenly have over a thousand extra blocks do not stake until we cross the block 1,293,600 HOW TO GET THE NEW WALLET RUNNINGYou can choose from this 2 options: Swap or sync from last bootstrap
A) SWAP 1.1) In windows: Go to /users/(your username)/AppData/Roaming/Teslacoin and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld 1.2) In Mac: /users/(your username)/Library/Application Support and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld 1.3) In Linux: 2) Download the wallet from OP or website links 3) Make sure you're in v.3.3 (In your wallet go to: Help -> About Teslacoin). Close the wallet. 4) Since you have opened the new wallet, a new folder called Teslacoin has been created. 5) Copy the content of TeslacoinOld folder in the new Teslacoin folder 6) Open the wallet
B) SYNC FROM LAST BOOTSTRAP 1.1) In windows: Go to Roaming -> Teslacoin and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld 1.2) In Mac: /users/(your username)/Library/Application Support and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld 1.3) In Linux: 2)) Download the wallet from OP or website links 3) Make sure you're in v.3.3 (In your wallet go to: Help -> About Teslacoin). Close the wallet. 4) Download the bootstrap from the OP 5) Replace the files with the downloaded ones 6) Open the wallet 7) Let it sync from peers
Warning: - Always keep a copy (or 2 or 3) of your wallet.dat in a safe place (or 2) - We don't have Mac wallet yet - We're not moving to the new blockchain until block 1,293,600.
Let us know if you have any problem, errors, improvements or whatever. Thanks for your feedback!

The about window now says Current number of blocks: 1289984 Estimated Total blocks: 1286241 Last block time: Sun Jul 30 12:02:21 2017
Again, I used the newest wallet, erased and re downloaded the block chain using the 7-9-2017 bootstrap and haven't unlocked my wallet/staked since to avoid it doing weird things. I currently have 21 connections to the network. The blockchain explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/# currently claims the last block was 1289441 and that it happened at 2017-07-29 16:33:10 extracted by Proof of Stake. Typing getmininginfo gives me:  { "blocks" : 1289984, "currentblocksize" : 0, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 1.46811084, "errors" : "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers.", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
getcheckpoint gives me: { "synccheckpoint" : "000002d236d1bd8aa49f17e98117db81491d2127c5621464258e7542d95aba77", "height" : 0, "timestamp" : "2014-01-17 12:46:22 UTC" }
getblockhash 1289441 (the most recent block according to the explorer) gvies me: ff9562d0b86e970e7123d64b9c0d03d61b028f3a79c30951a7efbe30dc3375d2
while the explorer says that hash for 1289441 is: 9220b76922090c4c9b242d3f7b1391156499172e81f24f4f6f220134cd867038
getblockhash 1288942 (Just an example block; I went back to see how far back the fork goes) gives me: d8c7f5a077fab4f10a174715aecc0a9a48578cc61e8c6c26eff3df5922eb56fc
which matches the explorer. getblockhash for 1289342 (another example block) gives me: d5ddc05ee1d72bfe1aba6a8ab8bd8a9d10a3dbf7aa113a25e7d7b4a04714cb38
which does not match the explorer. ******************************************************************************************************* And now the solution: getblockhash for 1289292 gives me: 4c86e66a9eadf40e6a397af986b7e6e46057352144a697661ec580de562acb4e
same as the block explorer at 2017-07-25 21:14:22 extracted by Proof of Stake getblock hash for 1289293 (the very next block) gives me: 41e73ddcc7603eca3b29356496a0971a530585738b2e0e6afd92a7deedcb8a43
while the blockchain explorer gives me: f4976ed69affd2fa5ca936cadc7c9345ca16136226f7e5300813124d788bc072
so that's where, it seems, our fork is, it starts at block 1,289,293. Wonder which one is "correct." getblock 41e73ddcc7603eca3b29356496a0971a530585738b2e0e6afd92a7deedcb8a43 (my wallet's block 1,289,293) gives me:  { "hash" : "41e73ddcc7603eca3b29356496a0971a530585738b2e0e6afd92a7deedcb8a43", "confirmations" : 693, "size" : 454, "height" : 1289293, "version" : 4, "merkleroot" : "56d6ffb7e60e285adc4a66686c61d7d64a7d40765d270be9c2dfbd6328e04af1", "mint" : 0.00295600, "time" : 1501017398, "nonce" : 0, "bits" : "1e00ffff", "difficulty" : 0.00390625, "previousblockhash" : "4c86e66a9eadf40e6a397af986b7e6e46057352144a697661ec580de562acb4e", "nextblockhash" : "9ceeec1a72916439311e6efee378ad5c52e2761995b86597ee5db15a732fac1a", "flags" : "proof-of-stake", "proofhash" : "0000058159c04b5c628454a4a29206ef86a7f390d1bce7206e6f3a4cfb78cabd", "entropybit" : 1, "modifier" : "23d59ed0d26beedd", "modifierchecksum" : "c1a0d1f2", "tx" : [ "3ac26a9b7009a8a2d2e83718f5517f61f352e75a053887f6d6aebf8ebd148f07", "e0473cf8a0b3738661e49f402e5560e2544e700d87e20db9dca554b33dea074f" ], "signature" : "304402200f08dd728adc59de1e16ee5fea2ad119721e654ce6f978a9dbf158bc402aa0da0220455 2532210a4285816d56a46bc00deef805aedfbf8fbf6b98683178c9c1afcfe" }

Try 32 bit. It's working fine. Don't stake till block 1,293,600.

i deleted my block chain and reapplied the bootstrap and re-downloaded everything. I'm at block 1,289,924, while the explorer says we're at 1,289,441. I am now at around 500 blocks ahead. I have not staked since the re-download.
BTW, how do we get to block 1,293,600 if no one is staking to create new blocks?
Here you have a point. However it seems that staking caused the forks, that's why we asked to not stake. Again, I used the newest wallet, erased and re downloaded the block chain using the 7-9-2017 bootstrap and haven't unlocked my wallet/staked since to avoid it doing weird things. I currently have 21 connections to the network. The blockchain explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/# currently claims the last block was 1289441 and that it happened at 2017-07-29 16:33:10 extracted by Proof of Stake. Thanks for the info. Not sure why you have 21 connections. Could you please share your getpeerinfo? Try to delete your teslacoin.conf file. The new wallet will automaticaly connect you to the right nodes

I will erase the conf file and re-download and see if that makes the difference.

I erased everything in my teslacoin folder except my wallet.dat file and used the bootstrap. Then i erased even the new teslacoin.conf file (I had previously used the new one, this time i erased it so only the wallet would know what nodes to use). I'm now at block 1,289,155 while the explorer says we're at block 1,289,443. So I'm off again. The last block that has a hash that matches mine is 1,288,998. The very next block, 1,288,999 does not have the same hash when comparing my wallet's blockchain and the explorer. I didn't unlock the wallet, I have no staking being done. I have 19 connections. Getpeerinfo gives me: [ { "addr" : "184.164.129.202:62511", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1501547114, "lastrecv" : 1501547114, "conntime" : 1501540478, "version" : 63002, "subver" : It appears as though many of them are the same as my previous post, except that they have different port numbers.
