Pretty much all my rigs perform really crappy now on ETH after i have been mining ZEC pretty much from the start of that.
My 480s fire up at 30.5Mhs and then slow down to lower 20s after a while. I dont have the time to reinstall all my rigs atm.

Anyone have had the same trouble after ZEC ?

Before ZEC all my rigs where going full speed for weeks rock solid :/
In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

This shouldn't happen. You sure you didn't play around with your BIOS straps and memory clocks?

I know, it is really strange. It feels like the drivers are messed up or something.
Nothing changed, i used My ETH bios on ZEC. Mem clocks are the same, they are set at 2200 in the bios so i never need to change it.

I will reinstall fresh drivers on a rig tomorrow and see if that helps.

I only can recommend to get a holy water and sprinkle on the rig - if that will not help, nothing will work

On series note - it should not be like that

That almost implies they are throttling due to temps, has anything changed with respect to the environment? Can you see what the clocks look like remotely after they start slowing down?

Nothing is changed from before. All rigs stay cool in a good ventilated area.
All clocks stay the same at all time, if i restart the mining software the speed bumps back to normal (30+) before starting to go down slowly again.
I never had this problem before ZEC so something was messed up during that.

I guess i have to take the time for reinstalling everything some day.

Edit.
My 470 rig work flawless on ETH, it seem like it is all of my 480 rigs except one or two having problems.
All rigs mined ZEC.

The same was with me, lol.
I played with dual mining ZEC/ETH and added -i 1 option to claymore's config.txt.
So after switching to ETH the performance was VERY low on 2 rigs of 3. I even reinstalled windos. Lol.

Ok ! Good/Bad to hear that i am not alone having this issue.
I have had all 480 Gear on -i 2 @ZEC. Not my 470 rig and that one is working as it should on ETH.

Now i am back mining ZEC due the little bump upwards in price and all rigs run att full speed.

What seem to suck is that even if i reinstall all my rigs and get full speed @ ETH again i will probably have the same result again as soon as i switch to ZEC mining again.
So the best would be to find a solution for this problem.

I will hazzle around a bit as soon as i get some free time.

I have all RX480 rigs. I have to reboot all of them once I transition from ZEC to ETC/H. A reboot gives me regular perfomance. but without reboot invariably it hangs and crashes.

on all of my 6 cards builds  im switching  back and forth  between ETH and Zcash , never had any problem . On all of my rigs I constantly run CPU miner for ZEC , during ETH or Zcash GPU mining. All cards are rx480 with  8GB mem , and my own custom bios for eth mining , using win 10 / 64 bit .

I'm seeing this happen on one of my rigs with 4x RX470 4GB GPUs. Rebooting does nothing. Stock vBIOS, no overclocking. Win8.1

Its fucked up. The only thing I haven't tried is taking the rig all apart and putting it back together again. I guess I could also try booting into linux but I have a ridiculously slow internet connection and I'm too impatient to wait several hours for linux to download...

I don't know where you live but usually in every country there are computer stores which should have Linux CD/DVD-s available for very little dollars(I mean the free versions cause Mandriva for example is expensive). So to remove your last doubt and to boot in Linux why not go out to get a Linux CD/DVD (I suggest UBUNTU or MINT as the best for the mining area).

Nearest store is over an hour drive away :p
I guess I'll just download it while I'm doing something else
