I would be interested in the S7 batch 6, but with the halving on 9 JUL I could not imagine spending more than 0.35 BTC shipped.

At the moment eBay price is ~$299 shipped through auction (9 units with 0 bidders all 4.73Th/s models or better), indicating buyers are valuing the S7 between $300 and $350 or less.  Buy it Now pricing is around $450 which indicates sellers are valuing the S7 at ~$375 shipped.  And eBay is notoriously overpriced...  Who cares what rip-off price Bitmain is trying to get away with before the halving?

Bitmain uses phrases like 'limited edition', 'due to popular demand', and 'limited quantity' to get rubes to buy on emotion rather than logic and/or maths.  I can't tell if these guys then try to prop up or negotiate based on Bitmain's ridiculous prices to justify their own terrible decisions, or if they actually believe that's what these units are worth.  I guess the other possibility is that they understand the price is a rip-off and are all too happy to engage in negotiation without good faith.
